Don't fall for that SKM the ruling party is the most corrupt party and has done many task to surpress SDF the main reason of arresting is that she did talk about SKM and the women is from SKM party who abused the youtuber and said that she belong to SDF. Me belonging from sikkim I can conclude that SKM is a party run by criminals several murders were done during first t years and not even a single case of justice is and you talking about arrest search for Padam Gurung student from kamrang collage namchi who was killed by his friends instead of justice the murderer was funded to go to foreign country just because he was a political member of the SKM party this is only example but more than 20 murders were done sikkim without single justice also a politician of SDF K. N Rai who is above 65 years was badly injured by SKM members and still the police was forced to realese the criminals.

I have seen lots of videos regarding the issue from different TH-camrs or content creators. All of those were biased in someway. But this video seems accurate, credible and unbiased. The analysis and the reference of the issue is perfectly portrayed. I know still people have different perspectives on this matter, but the video is perfect for anyone to know the issues perfectly.
I feel pity for the SDF and SKM for their poor level of politics. This incident clearly portrays the kind of politics done in Sikkim.

But if you start speaking against Sikkimese and their tradition and culture, then you will be deported like Uma was deported. Sikkim people don't go Nepal to speak against Nepal's tradition and culture. Uma Rai has in her video criticised Sikkim's Rai communities and she had to be expelled. Im Rai too but im from England and I noticed you misspelled n mispronounced "Sakela".I know such minor mistakes are bound to happen while making such detailed videos but for the people reading this comment who are unfamiliar with the term sakela,i just wanted to put it out there...And I'd also like to thank you n your team for all the efforts that you put into bringing this story from Sikkim to us.This incident hits really close to my heart as my late grandmother is from Kalimpong n i often used to visit sikkim,silguri,kalimpong,gangtok n darjeeling in my preadolescent years n I love those parts of India wholeheartedly.
In Sikkim the festival is called Sakewa the same which you call Sakela in Nepal. You can refer to a video of Uma Chamling in this regard.
