@@TheLabOtomy ok, I didn't think about that they surely could break if you were to careless. Thank you anyway. :) Just seemed a lot of work, but I do things like this my self all the time. A 2 minute job can easily be overthinked into 8 hours at my place. Haha
Good question! This repair is part of a longer restoration project where I repaired a hammer drill found in a crate: th-cam.com/video/YLIgP_FTak0/w-d-xo.html I have no background around what happened with the drill, so can only speculate at this stage. My 2 theories are (seen the state of the drill): 1) the drill fell breaking the carbon brush, 2) the carbon brush broke due to arcing
This was a very well put together video! It deserves way more views! Thank you for sharing this info!
Thanks for the feedback Angela, happy you liked it
Mucho pedo
Thanks for sharing this excellent tip.
Glad it was helpful!
Ehy didnt you just brysh it against sandpaper without that setup?
To give them the proper bedding (which in this configuration could not be done with the brush in place)

I prefer to do with file and fine tune with sand paper later , don’t need so much mess
Для чего нужны эти щетки?)
