An early episode of the 1984 incarnation of Deal, with a different version of Door #4. Which of our traders will try to win exactly $8,407 worth of stuff? Apologies for the weirdly-formatted video.
Really ??? Not a single car offered in any deal.
Original Air Date: Friday, October 19, 1984.
BUZZR and Game Show Network has been doing a marathon, to remember Monty Hall.
80s game shows looked depressing with their nauseating pastel set colors.
6:39-6:43, the following LMAD script:
Monty Hall: “You know how much they’re worth, Brian?”
Brian Cummings: “No.”
Monty Hall: “I do!”
You notice the audience members in the area Monty doesn't go to have costumes on? Guess they weren't selected for the trading floor area.
WOW !! $1295.00 for the KAYPRO 2 computer. I want one.
Perfect day for me to comment being 3 days before Christmas
Monty Hall is the original deal maker
Hey! What happened to "Carol Merrel?"
I always wish he had jay and carol on the new one but they came back in the final 1986 episode
@@kenyattasimpson7649 Shows today just aren't what they were back in the 60s-90s what happened? I heard "Fraizer" is getting rebooted but seems there's a delay, rumor is because Covid 19 has also affected Hollywood. .
@@m42037 unfortunately that's true 😭🤧
No car in this episode
There go my High School pastime.
💲925.00 for a portable TV What a deal❗🤓
When Monty reveals she could have had $715, she and the audience think there could be something better behind the box. Nope. That's how cheap this show got.
I always called this version "The Wal-Mart Let's Make a Deal". In fairness, the daytime version in the 60's and 70's was as cheap, if not cheaper. Most of the 70's version we see on TH-cam is the nighttime version they did once a week in the summer. They purposely had a bigger budget for those shows.

Monty Hall Passed Away!
They beefed up the prize budget in later episodes...by about the middle of the first season, at least one car was offered per show, and the switch to the all-cash "Dealer Wheel" format for Door #4 around the same time was also a reflection of that.
This song was on CBS 2, at the time.
And on WKYT-TV Channel 27 too!
Thank you for posting! The game show world lost a legend. 2:57 - a rare cue used only twice to my knowledge.
This one belongs to the mexican comedy La Chicharra from Chespirito.
@@jorgefigueroa4437 Wow...that is neat! Thanks!

Christopher kemp Amen. Right up there, hopefully, with Jim Lange, Geoff Edwards, Bill Rafferty, and Peter Tomarken.
@@drummingdanny84 very well said!
And Tom Kennedy too!
Weird formatting to remove the colorful ANNOYING pillar bars GSN is now using on their classic game shows shot in SD?
Do you have LMAD IN THE 90'S

Aired on Syndication in October 19, 1984.
