Those 150 youngsters singing their hearts out are marvelous. One can understand every word. Instrumentalists are exacting as well. Such precision. That's why the trains run on time!
magnificent interpretation, the instrumentation that on the edge of an almost absolute simplicity, the coral gives a warmth to the mediaveles poems ....
Wow ! There is no words to describe how amazing is the performance of this 150 youngsters singing with their hearts, ..and the orchestra ..simply wonderful !
I have another recording like this on cd and I really enjoy this kind of minimalist instrumentation over the more common orchestral arrangement. It gives the work a more somber (if not haunting) feeling.
A choir in a neighbouring town sometimes does these kinds of arrangements and often asks my drums teacher to provide the percussion parts. Recently they did Carmina Burana in almost (if not exactly) this arrangement. Two Pianos, the choir, solo singers and a five-person percussion section. The best one yet was Jenkins' the Armed Man tho. They really outdid themselves on that one I also now know: Reportedly, the cymbals at 24:57 are one of the hardest sections

This percussion-only (except for the singer's obviously) rendition is astonishing. Excellent.
Starts at 9:25 ;)
Prodromalphase 😭👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Important if you cannot speak German, or like everybody else cannot hear anyway.

very interesting music. Some parts are like phrases that sound like really good pop-music

4:00 I can't believe there is not a locker or other place to put his clothes.
Merci.
Bravo ...!!.............
Awesome!
BRAVO
Interesante interpretación
Toll, danke
At 46:00 In The Tavern I missed the spooky bassoons and bass clarinet.

If I were that conductor I'd have gone straight over to that timpanist and shook hands with him first
for floret silva
Belo!
skip intro 9:27
ist der Gong in der richtigen Tonart
Very nice interpretation, a shame that the sound captation is so bad.
Ohne Geigen aber sehr still.
HERMOSO
Spannend ...
pardon my French.....fucking right on there...fucking right there....if u got this....thanks

Come back another time when you're ready to pay full attention to the music, and you won't even hear the baby.
