The shop wanted to charge me $962 to do this job. Thanks for saving me cash! It took me 2 hours because I’m an amateur, but someone experienced could easily do it in an hour.
Thank you , just finished it up. 2011 Escape 1st plug change. 82000 miles. Plugs were shot worn down to like 90 gap. Definitely shouldn't wait to 100,000 miles like the book says. Excellent video! Give the engineer a black eye. Lol
What a nightmare to replace the back bank plugs. I miss having a turbo 4 cylinder sports car. 5 minutes to pull plugs and replace them. Thanks for the video! I'll be out in the garage getting this done.
Good video with the exception of the very end where you state to tighten the intake bolts to15 ft lbs. I followed this and snapped off a bolt. Turns out 15 is double of what should be used.
Always think about it ! If it feels like its getting to tight when turning the bolt maybe double check , Makes life a lot easier Also easy outs are your best friend in your case.
Awesome. Not too hard indeed. I have to remove the intake manifold from my damn Versa when I do the spark plugs. And that's just a 4 cylinder engine. At least this one is a 6 cylinder one. I'm looking into getting one of these SUVS from Ford since they are affordable and the reviews are stellar when it comes to how dependendable they are.
This part of what I Need plus Steps on how to replace injectors mine is aying replace number four ya Have Videos on that Too Just asking Ya Got my Vote Cause ya Right on the Money Thks again for Your Help Keep up the Great Work And For Sharing for People Like Us that Need it Hopefully ya Have Video to help Me ?
I had a friend that had a 2015 Toyota Sienna with the 3.5, the front 3 were a piece of cake, the rear 3, not the case. On some makes and models its even more into the worst of them but damn, an hour and a half on the rear 3, whats next lol

He said newton-meters not ft-lbs. Get your ears checked?
@@DockterDoomat the 16:00 mark he said fl lbs. he made the mistake saying it and didn’t catch himself.
He did say both. First Nm then ft lb. 15 Nm equals 11 ft lb. So it was a bit confusing

I suffer but enjoy changing the spark plugs in my mercury sable 1997 modelo 3.0 24 V.
Thank's again and blessings forever!

Thanks great video
Isn't this the exact process for the 2009 to 2010 3.0L V6 aswell???
Yeah they have a few years that are the same , I own a 2011 and also used parts off a Mazda tribute and worked fine as well.

Great video, Thank You!
Thank you
Good job
🎉thanks
Excellent
a good time to do a compression test while you have those plugs out.....
If you do this, remember to disconnect the injector fuse and run the engine until the injectors run out of gas.
Fantastic
Great
How much would you consider this job costs from a local mechanic?
An hours labor .
Most definitely will help. Thank you.

@@nicolegir junk. American cars
what a spark plugs?!
Really? Are you a child or an adult? Or so you live where there arent any cars?
16 minutes & not 1 spark plug got changed. Junk. Cheap American vehicles. They should all go out of business.
Literally you can see the plugs removed at 4:25
Which country you're in? Dont sau where BMWs are because BMWs are junk as well.
No Anti Seize on the plugs??
Definitely not on modern cars. It's already on the spark plug coating. Adding lubricant changes your torque value.
