Believe it or not, when I was a teacher in Beijing in the late 1980s Tsingtao Beer was not easily available so when I did visit the city I purchased and carried back a case of Tsingtao bottles much to the delight of my friends in Beijing.
In China winter,I suggest you go to Harbin, Heilongjiang Province, to enjoy the Ice and Snow Festival, or go to Sanya, Hainan Province, to experience the Hawaiian island style.
As a person just went to Qingdao for a business trip, I strongly recommend you some authentic Qingdao dishes that you don't wanna miss. They are 海肠捞饭（Penis Fish with Rice）、鲅鱼水饺（Spanish Mackerel Dumplings）、海胆水饺（Sea Urchin Dumplings）、蒜蓉粉丝蒸扇贝（Steamed scallop with garlic and vermicelli）.If you have already left Qingdao, don't worry about it. You can also find similar food in Dalian of Liaoning Province.

If you have not been to Harbin yet, go there during winter. They have the ice festival, where buildings are built from ice and it's brightly lighted too. Google to find out when the ice festival starts. I believe it starts from mid-December 2024 to mid-January 2025. Chinese (Lunar) New Year starts from 29 January 2025. They will have 1 or 2 weeks public holidays.

You should go to the "Lover Dam" to watch the light show. It appears more magnificent than the views from the beach. Qingdao's night views are more spectacular than Chongqing's.
I heard in china dogs dont poop on the street or pavement because they are trained to use the squat toilet! Our street and park in UK need to improve because the stench of dog poop and wee is getting out of control

In the coastal city of Qingdao, seafood is naturally delicious and doesn’t require any MSG.
You’d be delighted to know we polished them plates clean and it was around £25 so not bad at all 👍🏻 weren’t thirsty though 🍺
