Randell from Axial said it was originally going to have it, they removed it so it would flex more. He talked about in on Harley Designs and Scale Builder's Guild Wednesday take over two weeks ago I think.
@@BlueDually4x4 doubt. Probably so it would cost less and they could sell and upgrade part. Real bounces have sway bars. The twist in the first video is very unrealistic.
@@BlueDually4x4 ye don't by that nonsense, that's called sells & marketing.. (we were gonna include) (until we realized we can NOT include it & force the customer to have to spend another $16. 99 plus tax & shipping to buy one..... 😂
That was very cool. The footage was great. It was nice to see a video of that thing without the cogging. Definitely can't go wrong with the Tekin stuff.
Wow! Sway bar made a huge difference. Actually looks like a fun truck now. Nice choice on electronics. Now if only Axial would make a kit version with no electronics with the sway bar included. Great video!
if they do they'll prob charge like $430.00 for the kit & still make ya buy the sway bar... These companies are experts at making us spend more!! you can buy the rtr for say $500 & throw half the parts away because there useless, then you have to spend more to make it worthwhile or they'll decide to make a kit version for like $430 you think your saving until you realize ya need to spend another $200 plus just to get it on the road HA HA
Just wanna give a big shout out to axial for continuing to build rigs with horrid torque twist and then not including the sway bar. Also another shout out for the abysmal effort to make this essential part available at launch..... this is a very cool rig that's basically handicapped right out of the box.
i was kind of hoping the option part was that axial made the axel housings out of nylon or somthing less brittle than the composite they used, so im guessing you just break the axel housings and get axial to send you a new one over and over again, good one.
Great run video Greg I live in Silverton OR. hasn't been cold enough to break any of my rigs my Ryft is still stock with the smt10 swaybar rear I understand you live in a colder climate so upgrades are needed 😎👍
So because the sway bar isn’t available to us normal folk I started playing around and moved the lower rear shocks to the link arm bracket on the rear housing and it basically got rid of the torque twist. Even on pavement it was totally manageable. I don’t think I’m going to put a sway bar on mine now.
Would love to see more of the Ryft along with more in depth info on tuning the Tekin RX4. So much tuning available for that setup, some expert information would be appreciated.
That looks so familiar where you are, and wow what a storm that was haha. We got all of the 18" up on the mountain of wolcottt. Great content I love your channel. 👍
At that price it should not broke for a small hit like that. It's a beautiful rig and it act like a real bouncer! Does Horizon makes things cheaper on the Rift?
Randell talked about removing the sway bar from the Rift during a live stream with Matt and Josh. It didn't make much sense to me since all anyone does is modify the rig so it doesn't torque twist so much.
How would you compare the Losi Rock Rey 1/10 to the Super Rock Rey? I’ve heard mixed opinions on the Super Rock Rey. I have the Rock Rey 1/10 and I am considering the Super Rock Rey for my next RC.
Tekin stuff looks so nice, but I rarely see it compared to the more popular options from Hobbywing and Castle. The prices are considerably higher- you feel it's worth it? Hope you are able to do another run soon now that you've got some snow on the ground! I'm in Tolland- we only had maybe 8".
I sure wish all these companies would also offer this stuff as a KIT. still sell us the radio and what not as part of the package but let us build them. I really do not like RTR. I want to build them. It helps me learn all about the RC's
Can’t call them anymore. :( Can email. Or try the chat. And if persistent you can still get good CS. But calling them in any way is no longer an option :/ Thx for the review!
WOW my goodness it should run after you just dropped $550.00 Plus in aftermarket Motor /Esc /Rear Stabilizer etc /....... to think between the truck the aftermarket your well over a Grand & it's still sitting on plastic beadlocks 😂... Gotta love this Hobby, you know darn sure Horizon/Axial & the aftermarket does... Ha Ha 👍🏼
I've had mine for two weeks and with less than 5 hours of drive time and many many things breaking, My best advice is DO NOT BUY A RYFT. I can not say it any clearer, the RYFT is a $500 buy in for a $1200 RC car if you want to drive it for what is to simulate. There are so many other things wrong with this RC the Breakage is only the START.
thanks! great video, you are one of the few who actually uses Ryft what it intends to do! Rock climbing and racing on rough very rocky terrain!
Sway bar should have been included.

1000% Embarrassing it wasn't
Wintertime does make very beautiful rc scenery
I agree, I did not know I needed a vehicle of this type until I saw the video you posted about it at launch. The thing looks like so much fun.
Sway bar changed its life
It did! 😃 It was ok before, but much more manageable now.
this thing look really durable like a beast that thing looks awsome to ride this looks epic

Wow, great truck/ buggy/ crawler/ ... Thanks Greg, another excellent show!
Hopefully they put a kit version out soon
Or at least a roller version.
@@Lex-Rex a real kit to assemble with both locked spools and diffs to play with.
This is what I want.
4:16 this is the best shots. Amazing angle and driving on this one 👍

Just Love the control of the sensored systems.
More action!!!! Especially since you have installed those upgrades 🤙🤙🤙 Tight work.
Excellent information i will be getting mine today the sway bar looks like a must have hopefully the hobby store stocked it to 💯
Some awesome footage of it in action! great video!
Cool truck.
I like what RCSparks did with the dual rear shocks for controlling torque twist.
Great footage and editing this episode. Great job.
Great info. Can't wait for mine to get here. Did order the sway bar too.
I really want to try one of these they look like a ton of fun
I’m gonna have to pick up this beast as a mate for my Bomber
Looks good keep on truckin
What a beast!
Great video, I'm seriously considering buying one. John

Great footage! Seems like a fun option for this time of year. Would LOVE if they released a kit version.
If you didn't know already they do have a kit version now.
Kit, kit, kit...And more aftermarket support parts...Then, it will be worthy of my attention. Excellent review though!
Sweet.
Finally looking like what I'm wanting. Got some control now.
Should setup the adjustable drag brake, so you can have it on in the technical sections, and off when in the open areas.
Are you able to try it in water e.g. a stream or a puddle ?

Oooooooooo!!! I want one. If you get that much snow, slap some paddles on this BEAST and make a killer vid with big rooster tails!!!🤘🤘🤘
Great video!
DOPE AF!!!
Time for rear steer. That thing is awesome.

They show the delivery date on the RTR as late April now. The kit is further out.

This is how it should have come out of the box for the money we are spending on these things

Review the redcat sixty four?
You need to get some heavy metal rims to keep those tires on the ground.
I see you Logan 🤗

Much better with sensored system and sway bar!
Did the sway bar control the tork twist?
It’s between this and the Losi Lazernut. I can’t decide.... help!
I would rather trade the radio and receiver for the swaybar and rear link stiffeners.

I just pre-ordered mine but I can’t find the sway bar kit anywhere online. Any idea where I can get one?
How slow can you go with the Tekin combo and is it smooth? Thanks.
I had 10 minutes of run time before AXI23406 broke. 2 months of waiting time
Was it running in 4S ? Low gear or high gear?
What sway bar did you use I can't seem to find one for the ryft?
Hey what’s the part number on that sway bar
where do you get the sway bar?
What sway arm did you ise
Did You run into any binding issues ? I’ve been hearing a lot about this
No, mine was good to go.
What is “cold”... here in Southern California we don’t have much in the way of fluctuating weather..
Cold is 15 degrees & 24 inches of Snow here in the Midwest
Love the Channel, only thing I would change is Get rid of music and just let us hear the rigs. PLEASE !!!
6:06 that's more like it. Ah !
It is noticeable more driveble with the swaybar. Show more driving video.
bonjour quelle est le model ou reference pour la barre stabilisatrice merci
Where can I buy the rear sway bar???? I've looked everywhere for it and cant find it
There is a link in the description to Horizon.
Where can we order the RBX10 sway bar? I looked online and couldn't find it.
Link in the video description. Looks like pre-orders only for it right now.

Hopefully this sway bar comes in stock soon 🙄😂 this vehicle is a straight beast ....
I'd take the stock motor and ESC off your hand.
I'm sure we all would. Sadly not everything is given to you in life.
Just one question, where do you live that they can call for 18" of snow and you act like it's a daily occurrence?
