- Not hating just making sure you know these are fake, not skill based. Not all videos are fake, many great restororations out there.

Lots of comments on these videos indicate i am not the only one to spot these fake restoration videos, many who are home or prof mechanics, or even just people with common sence can see this. #restorationvideo #fake #motorcycles - ยานยนต์และพาหนะ
I made a list of Fake Restoration Channels to watch out for, & a list of legitimate ones below it so that we know which ones we should be giving more attention to.

@@LPs-io1di Seems to be based in Sri Lanka, & the projects are in two parts. No sign of that "Fake Rust" thing.
The dead giveaway for these channels are usually:
- The Fake Rust/Man-Made Corrosion Trick
- Not many proper fixing tools (no flux, oil, cleaning machines or anything of the sort)
- Rust on bumpers on cars that have plastic bumpers
- Aggressive scrubbing during cleaning
- Using dirty water from a well & not clean water
- Putting electronics in water (such as mother boards, data chips, batteries, HDDs, etc)
The one on this video is a very big example of what a fake automobile restoration channel looks like.
On this, I couldn't see too much fake rust, & had actual machinery designed to clean & fix things.
To me, it looks like they're either actually fixing old automobiles, or doing a good job to disguise the fake restoration that it looks very legit. But their hands are so clean & also are not exactly too careful with chemicals sometimes (endangering themselves).
I'm glad someone else noticed this. I commented before that all the bikes from that part of the world look like they've been in a mud slide before ohhhh, let's say Restoration. Keep up the good work buddy. Tom from PA USA definitely agrees.

TH-cam let these Fake Restoration Channels steal the thunder from legit ones, & allow Animal Abuse videos on TH-cam Kids. 😒
Yet they copyright strike & block any video game soundtrack videos & music videos that they find. 😖

In fact, do have a lot of fake restoration videos in TH-cam. I saw some fishing reels restorations very doubtfull too.
It’s entertaining I guess but to title these as full restoration videos and pretending they found the items it’s crazy fake and annoying for the true resto channels

I spotted the fakes videos on numerous occasions, anyone that as been involved with bikeing or restoration will know straight away, like you said you first clean the bike and assess what needs fixing or replacing, why they make these videos I know.
Yeah, it's fake. It's like some bikes got spray mud all over the bike discs, and the wheels are not sized. i cou ld on. Thanks for the video. I thought it was just me. I am glad someone else has seen it as well.

The only thing I have more than fake videos is fake thumb nails with the obligatory dramatic pose. You're on the wrong track.
I dont like restores done by professionals. Just about any compentent mechanic, pro or not, can restore a machine with unlimited funds and pro type tools. I find home garage work done by your average joe entertaining.
All these "I found a wrecked blah blah.... will it run?" bah.
Lol yeh a shop should get anything running, I skip the “this old bike barn find will it run” videos, all it needs is compression spark and gas and it will. Dang you don’t even need a carb just use gas direct lol I done that before. But these videos grind my gears ⚙️
