These fast stroke washers were reliable for all loads except jeans. Better turn over with slower stroke maytags.

"Orbital" transmissions were used for shorter, more rapid agitation like in this video. I believe the slower one for all the A- models from the 80's and before used a transmission called the "pitman drive". For reassurance
