- Exciting London Home Tour - inside the Clapton Tram with Mrs Trufflepig
Join me on this week's VLOG for an exciting home tour of the Clapton Tram! I head down to London for a Bathtub Gin tasting afternoon, hosted by the delightful Genevieve Harris, also known on social media as Mrs. Truffle Pig. The event, titled "Summer of Punch," featured Genevieve's delicious summer punch creations. The food, drink, and company were fantastic, as was the stunning location. It's always a thrill to fit in a house home tour.
The event took place at the Clapton Tram, a location house, home, and studio I've wanted to visit for years. It's just as impressive in real life as it is on Instagram, and I couldn't resist filming this delectable location house for you to see. I found it incredibly inspiring and hope you will too.
Join me for this home tour as I explore the beautiful Clapton Tram, showcasing its unique charm and stunning interiors. This home tour will give you a peek into the creative space that has captured my heart. Whether you're looking for inspiration or just love a good home tour, this VLOG is for you!

Looks such a lovely afternoon, I remember the grand designs episode, a few years back now but small space living fascinates me - I love all the lush plants and light - gorgeous!
It was spectacular. I'd love to live somewhere like this, if it was just Mark & I.

What wonderful scenery into London. The lining of your bag is fab
It was the lining which swung it for me. Red is one of my favourite colours, especially with black 😊

My sister got me some Bathtub gin for Christmas a few years ago, it took me ages to open it because I thought it might taste, soapy! It was however delicious. The location house looked amazing x
Am I allowed to chuckle at the thought of soapy gin 🤣?
Thank you so much for all the lovely comments 🙏🌿💚
You are most welcome. It's a location I have wanted to visit for SO long. Which TV program did I see you on, many moons ago?
I’m not sure how many moons but I used to be on BBC real rooms in the early noughties ha - if more recently it was probably an interview in Gardener’s World
I haven't even heard of Real Rooms 🤣
😊😊what a treat being taken along.Ladies dressed so beautifully.Gorgeous table setting.Amazing building.Lovely to see like minded people enjoying a civilised gathering.Liked the goody bag.If you make the punch will you film it and let us see Marks reaction?
This comment beautifully suns up the day 😊 Of course, if there is punch making at Starre Corner, you'll get to see it. We just need some summer sun now to get in the mood 😊

Louisa, what book were you reading on the train? I paused the video to read and thought it might be a nice read for lazy afternoons...😉
It is The Potting Shed Murders by my Norfolk friend Paula Sutton @hillhousevintage. I have just finished it and it was great fun.
@@elegantlyknackeredstyle Thank you! Must See how I can order it from Germany 😁

You reminded me of Mary popping. That’s meant as a compliment honest.
I agree 🤣
Question:
I'm surprised that someone in the UK would use the phrase 'bathtub gin' for the name of a product.
Perhaps it means something different over there. In the US it's a reference to illegal gin that was made during prohibition when alcoholic beverages were outlawed in the USA.
Bathtub Gin is the brand name, taking inspiration from the Illicit gin making practices of the 1920s.
