Which one of the 5 would you choose first for your hedge trimming needs? The 24", the 30", the Short Pole, the Articulating Trimmer, or the Extended Pole Articulating Trimmer?
I already have the previous generation handheld hedge trimmer and also the quik lok articulating hedge trimmer as well as an extension pole. Those meet my needs quite well. I use the quiklok far more. I think it will do about .75" branch, maybe a little more if it's a dead branch. But anything more than that and I use the pole saw attachment. It's not good for the tree to trim large diameter branches with a hedge trimmer. It's not a clean cut.
I have the original articulating fuel lock with extension....I don't need a ladder anymore to reach the tall hedges or bushes plus its the fastest cleanest way to cut down seasonal ground plants.
Hey Mark, really good video quality and coverage from ‘Pipeline!’ These look like really solid trimmers! The ability to swivel the head is cool. Those extended/ articulating trimmers are sure to make it easy on Landscapers. When he was quoting the prices, I said Whoa! 😯 It seems like these are priced more FOR the Professional Landscapers?! 🙄 Future Video material Mark; Putting one of these new hedge trimmers ( when they become available ) up against and compared to the recent one You tested! That should make for a great Video!? Hope You're doing well, and I am wondering if You had a chance to do any filming of that building, where You replaced the Vandalized door on? I think I remember You mentioned You were going to work on the building, renovating it, and might make some videos? Juss curious! Hi to Leo and Oakley! Best to You and Yours Mark! 👍💪🐶 🐶🇺🇸😊
Hey George! That's a great video idea! If I get a chance, I'll make a comparison to the ECHO one I recently tested.. Of all the trimmers I tested, I'm curious to see how the extended trimmer I used in the video works on some actual landscaping projects that I've maintained in the past. I like the idea of standing back a little while working. Also, I appreciate the reminder of the garage I planned to fix up. I have a lot of video ideas going around in my head and forgot I mentioned doing that.😂👍 The new M18 Roofing Nailer would come in handy for some repairs to that garage. I believe the launch date of the roofing nailer is November, so hopefully I can work those projects in this fall. I can see me making a series of 3-4 videos that cover all the projects I plan to do. Thanks for stopping by and for the suggestions!
Hey Jeremy, sorry I'm going to have to push my livestream back to next week.We had lots of rain this week and I have some outdoor projects that need to get done today.
Ridiculous, introducing 3 fixed (not quiklok) pole hedgetrimmers, that is not versatile. Telescoping or quiklok extensions would be much better for the consumers. 😂 I love Milwaukee but this is greed🤑🤑 lol
I heard one of the product managers saying they're expanding the Quik Lok offerings. Maybe you'll see some new hedge trimmer items this fall at the Equip Expo.

That original one is pretty awesome. I remember my first hedge trimmer required an extension cord. What a pain to lug around the house, lol.

@@MarkThomasBuilder Thanks for your reply and You're Welcome! 😊
Hey save some of those bushes for someone else to try it out!
Haha, yeah, I definitely had to restrain myself from trimming it all down, lol!
Is there livestream this week Mark Thomas

Hey Jeremy, sorry I'm going to have to push my livestream back to next week.We had lots of rain this week and I have some outdoor projects that need to get done today.
Is there livestream tonight Mark Thomas
Hi, no unfortunately I'm going to have to push it back a week. I do have a video launching tonight though.
Its nov, where are they
That's a good question. It should be any day now.
do they still feel like my neighbor kids fisher price toys?
I don't think they resemble that anymore.
@@nickgibb4687 not the Milwaukee, it will eat any bush finger size stem and down.

Seems like an excessive amount of trimmers 😅
Yep, that's a big selection. It might come in handy for landscape companies that need the right tool for the job.👍
