So glad to see you back on TH-cam! Watching you make the planters was awesome and your channel was one of the first ones I ever subscribed to. Thank you for making an appearance! Your plants are amazing!
Beautiful results!! The only difficult thing is to come up with the structure to lift the plant; clearly the best way to do the job with no damage to the plant. Mine are looking very sad, crowded in the pot. I have to repot, thus looking at your channel. Love your work!! ☺️
I'm so glad I saw this today.I repotted one of my adeiums this week and thankfully did exactly the same proceduce.Didn't need to use a lift as It wasn't as huge as your own.I love the idea of using the extra piece to get the soil all around the smaller roots.👏👏
Thanks again! Your sensible and methodical approach has influenced how I handle my adeniums and other plants too. Now to get them to flower during a Canadian summer……
Hi great idea with the trimming inside the pot to keep soil in and extra support for roots. Have about 6 big girls as well getting ready to repot and just came across your channel perfect timing. Beautiful collection 🥰
I have been subscribed and enjoying your videos for about a year and a half now. I have several Desert roses myself but I will say without a doubt you have the most beautiful Desert roses on TH-cam my friend 👍
This was SO interesting .. you are a Master Mr. Lee! You should have small guided tours of your incredible plants. I’m especially in awe of this plant now ; spreading the roots around for a larger codex was fascinating 👍🏻
That edging used to pack soil around high roots is next level genius. I have been trying to develop beefy root structure but the surface roots always dry out. Good thinking Sony!
Your collection is beautiful! You are a master at these plants, thanks for sharing your growing tips. I have 50 now in my collection and hope to grow them all as large as yours one day.
I am curious what size diameter are those pots that you have your desert roses in? You did a great job on this video and your plants are beautiful. What is a good insecticide that you recommend for insects and diseases on these desert roses, we live in South Florida? Thank you
Sony I have a desert rose that only has two branches off the caudex. It’s still small but how do I get it to branch more off the caudex as it grows ? Thank you so much for sharing your videos I’ve learned so much from you !!!
Dear Sony Le, thank you for your great videos. I have found old, neglected Desert Rose. It craccked the small pot. No leaves, no flowers but strong fat, twine roots, that took all space in a pot. I wonder if you could give me a suggestion how to revive this rose, please. I have pictures but don't know how to upload them
Although I was much enthralled with this zen-like video which I thoroughly enjoyed untill the very end I do think I spotted a UFO at about 12:28 in your video Mr. Sony Le. Cheers!
The sun doesn't burn those newly exposed roots? Your plants are amazingly beautiful! Oh, and you don't add sand to your potting soil for better drainage? I want to start growing these plants, so learning what I can about them. 😊
Such amazing plants. I have recently fallen in love with desert roses...your videos are quite helpful. There are conflicting sides on the " right soil". I live in Texas ( Houston). Any thoughts?
Good morning Mr Sony Le, I am Miguel Pradilla from Colombia, and I am just starting, as a hobby, I am 70 years old, with Adenium obesum plants, and learning about beautiful things like the ones you have. I have had problems, when pruning, healing cuts, because I have tried many products, but none of them do it well. I have seen that you use it to heal pruning cuts, like a PAINT, can you help me, what is it, how to use it, and where to buy it? I thank him for his valuable collaboration.
So very beautiful! I have a question? Got a Desert Road gifted to me and on the branches and stuff has got kind of a powdery mold. How do I get rid of that? I’m gonna appreciate any help. You could give me a new to the desert to spend in Florida for a year.
I'm also in S. Florida and would like to start growing these beautiful plants. My concern is the heavy rain and humidity we get during the summer. Is it acceptable to have these grow outside year round with a well draining soil in South Florida?
Great video! Do you usually repot when flowers have fallen off the plant? Also, when it is time to repot the two plants again, are you going to keep them in their same pots or do you plan on putting them into wider pots?
Sony, I love your plants! Can I ask what the attachment you have on the wood frame is called? I need to get one to lift my heavy adeniums as well! Thank you!
In earlier videos miracle grow potting soil required the addition of sand for perfect drainage. Is there a reason straight miracle grow is suitable now?
Yes it is perfect if adding sand, especially for desert rose. If not, your pot needs lot of holes and should not place directly on ground (place it on three small bricks is best) for good drainage. Thank you
I love desert rose and also live in South Florida Thanks for a great video. I am sharing it & subscribed. Just a quick question: do you leave the large pots out during Hurricane warnings?
I live in Palmetto FL. You need to make a couple more holes on the bottom of your pot and avoid to place it directly on ground. Maybe place your pot on three pieces of small brick
I’m learning too. Maybe to protect the new roots and let it harden after 2 months? I thought he was going to repot it in a bigger pot but I assumed wrong 😅 I have a leggy desert rose so trying to get the base to get bigger.

WOW!!! I love your Desert Rose videos! Please make more! I am surprised you use regular potting mix and not a more airy mix.
Beautiful work as always, you are the reason I am trying my hand at desert roses, thank you.
Good to see you back , miss watching the progress of you desert roses 🇬🇧😊❤️
Beautiful flowers and beautiful home with the lake in the background

Sonny. Have a couple 15 year old desert roses. Can I cut back the thin long branches the same as you do to these young plants?
Yes, you can. But if your area is cold or below 60, you can wait until next year . Regards
Beautiful
Sony, I love your plants! Can I ask what the attachment you have on the wood frame is called? I need to get one to lift my heavy adeniums as well! Thank you!
It is a winch (manual)
@@SonyLe thanks!
Beautiful!
Please tell about making poting mixture of adenium plants
What is the size in your adenium pot (@diameter/height) please mention
Que lindo como lo tienes.

Song Le is a certified fresh queen. I Stan for this demon 🥵🫶🏻
I love desert rose and also live in South Florida Thanks for a great video. I am sharing it & subscribed. Just a quick question: do you leave the large pots out during Hurricane warnings?
I leave them out side at all the time, they are heavy! Thanks
Hello, do you where those pots can be purchased? The one from the repot.
Doesn’t potting mix for plant hold too much water? Any root rot. ? I have seen cactus potting mix add perlite for adenium.
Mr Le, are pots like yours sold anywhere you know of? I have two very large Adeniums that need repotting. Thanks for any help you can offer.
how old are these when transplanted and how many times have they been repotted?
Hi sir 🙏 sooo qt ur bonsai plants
Do you mix potting soil with anything else?
Do you protect them from freezing in winter ?
What kind of soil are you putting for repotting the desert rose?
Today is October 4th, I’m guessing you live in Florida. I hope you are safe and all your Desert Rose’s are ok!
Woow❤❤❤
Do you sell the pots you make?
Mr. Lee, Why do the roots on my desert Roses look shriveled up and unhealthy, like they are not retaining water?
amazing !!
I have missed your videos
I thought you would cut some of the roots, so that the caudex could widen..?
This seems to be a myth. I don’t cut any of my roots either. I know he does when he grows from seed, he cuts off the long tap root but that is it.
I have mine in bonsai jack succulent mix. Should I add soil to the mix?
Can you please tell me how do you protect your dessert rose from overwatering with all the rain we get in Florida.
I live in Palmetto FL. You need to make a couple more holes on the bottom of your pot and avoid to place it directly on ground. Maybe place your pot on three pieces of small brick
@@SonyLe thank you so much. Will try that. Love your videos.
Wow~ Awesome Plants ^^
Include Like 347, I leave 3 Presents.
Have a good relationship.
My friend, always stay Connected.
Wow!
How to water desert rose? I'm afraid I water too much.
Wow luar biasa 👍
What's this soil mixture pls tell me, l am from India 🙏
I don't understand why you put the dirt in to cover the roots and then wash it away ( obviously new to the beautiful desert rose) still learning
I’m learning too. Maybe to protect the new roots and let it harden after 2 months? I thought he was going to repot it in a bigger pot but I assumed wrong 😅 I have a leggy desert rose so trying to get the base to get bigger.
how does he get away with using miracle grow?
Sangat indah
It’s going back in the same sized pot, I thought you were repotting
Do you sell anything
