Bishop, "everything in Christ is in me because I am immersed in him" is that not an overstatement? The non-transferable attributes of God the father, which Jesus shares will never be ours! (Omnipotence, omniscience, Omnipresence etc)....then we become God.... This will never happen. Of course he imparts some of his attributes like agape love, humility, kindness and so on.....

Yeah, that is what it might seem like especially when you consider yourself as just being a “flesh man”. But remember, we are spirit, we live in the body(flesh), and we have a soul. In the flesh, we don’t have those attributes you mentioned. But in the spirit, we are one with Christ and hence have everything that is Christ’s. That does not make us “God” perse, but that makes us have access to all that Christ has, and we can use that for the work He wants us to do on earth. Take that truth away, and we are just as anyone out there. But it is the only truth that makes the redeemed ones different, nothing else.
“..As the Father has sent Me, I also send you..”. Read John 20:21-23 and many other scriptures that speak about the believer’s authority.

Question: Is Jesus actually living within you? Is Jesus only partially in you, or fully in you? Is Jesus fully God? If these things are so, then the statement cannot be wrong. You may ask, does this make us God? And the answer is certainly no. The challenge now is to accept the truth of God being in us in his fulness, while being mindful that does not make us God.

I don't know if this is a response from Bishop himself. I expected him to respond. I do not consider myself or any single born again Christian as "flesh man"! How did you assume that? No theologian on earth would dare to speak as you have spoken. We are spirits, partakers of the divine nature, however we are not and never will be part takers of the Non-transferable attributes like omnipotence, omniscience and omnipresence which are shared only among the trinity. This is an erroneous position.

No, sir, it's not Bishop Johnson's response. I live in Canada, and he's in Maryland, USA. I simply follow and appreciate the insightful teachings of this man of God.
If my comment implied that you consider yourself a "flesh man," I apologize. I intended to speak generally.
That said, as a fellow believer, I would have taken a different stance if the preaching elevated humanity to the status of equality with Almighty God. I would have shared similar concerns. However, the truth revealed in this message-that we have all of Christ within us, not just a portion-cannot and should not be denied. This means all of His power, His abilities, and His nature reside within us. It's a pure gift, not a merit. Whatever Christ did or could do, we can too, because He dwells within us. (Galatians 2:20; John 14:12; Mark 9:23)
Yes, we are not omnipotent, omniscient, or omnipresent. However, the One who is dwells within us. We can partake of His omnipotence, omniscience, and omnipresence. Though we may not physically know what's happening in Africa or Australia at this moment, God does. And guess what? We can know too and can take action, if it's necessary for our work or calling on Earth, because we have Him-the Omniscient, Omnipresent, and Omnipotent One-living within us. That's why, even from thousands of miles away, I can speak and expect my words about a situation to manifest, and they do.
I can already hear myself shouting HALLELUJAH!!
Sir, I commend you for being vigilant against dangerous teachings that could mislead people. However, I assure you, this one is not one of them.
      Blessings.

@@revamp9767 Thank you my brother for your dignified response. I wonder whether I sounded little arrogant in my response to you and in that case I am sorry.
Brother, I am also a regular listener of Bishop Darlingston's profound preaching.
Brother, may ask you, do you hold on to the doctrines of "Word of Faith movement"? Did you really mean you can speak things into existence?
