Is it because you feel prettier or people tell you? I have a square face and everyone that sees my hair parted in the middle makes such a big deal about how good it looks. However, I hate putting it in the middle. I think I looks ridiculous.
It’s because it’s meant to hide stronger features, but strong features actually look very good on some people. That’s why lots of high fashion models have strong features.

It also depends on hairstyles and the look you’re going for… usually if I wear my hair down I do a side part but lately with ponytails I do a middle part for a more sleek look
I never really understood why people like middle parts but then I realized that the asymmetrical look of a side part made me feel better about my not-so-perfect face.
Have you tried a hot comb? If you do try it, start with a low temp and increase if your hair can tolerate it to get the style you want. pick one side of your center part and hot comb it from the center down (I’m assuming you won’t have to do too much for that side since you have a forever middle part already). then starting near the other side of the part, section the hair in small sections and hot comb each section from the root down to the opposite side. Keep doing the same thing to each section until you get to a section where you want your new part to start.
I have to agree with this 👍🏼 when I try to part my hair in the middle (mind you, I have an oval shaped head), I look like a hard rock band member from the 1990s 😂😂😂 parting it a little to the left side makes me look a lot less hideous 😅

Usually, your hair is "trained" to grow and be held in one direction. You can redirect it by parting your hair when wet, and clipping it in place until it dries. Do that for a few days and avoid hairstyles that affect your hairline

Heart shape face is just not that acknowledged to show in most tutorials, since it basically have the exact same characteristics of a round or oval face (in relation to shortness) the only difference is the V-shaped jaw. If it was the case we would never see tips for oval anywhere, since it's the ideal face shape.
