Ran is really remarkable in this match. Amazing to see his improvement since his first ever VNL to this VNL. Both his defense and offense skills are phenomenal.
Japan looked like they got another libero inside the court because of Ran’s impressive floor defense. He’s a Japanese player which is almost always a given but his digs are remarkable and his attacks pay respect to his predecessors like Takahashi and Fukuzawa. Good job!

@@iamAlTocino He used to be libero as well actually, it was back when he was in his early volleyball days- and funny enough he did not only play outside in italy, there were matches in which he was plaing libero as well
Once again,Sekita's orchestrating and in-game decision making is noteworthy.He is really an admirable setter. Yuki Ishikawa, Yuji Nishida, and Ran Takahashi all in double digits again. Keep it up, Japan RJN!♥️

Their Middles and Libero get left behind because of their amazing Setter and Wing Spikers.
But they cut through the noise every one in awhile, and it’s just what we need for texture.
I can’t tell if It’s more joyful to watch Ran on offensive or defensive side. He excels on both!
Sekita is a genius. If u watch him carefully he ususally scans thr opposition's field before he gets the reception to make the best decision. Though he is short he has a dynamic body and jump that helps him make incredible sets.

@@bigbangtrash6353 Ran is the mvp of the match. They interviewed Ran first after the game. They also interviewed Yuki and Kentaro after the stream ended. It was like a post interview for random players and also the interview was made for random players to say thank you to their fans. It was more like a fan service too.

@@bigbangtrash6353 Anyone from team japan can be the mvp. Nishida got 24 points against Serbia yet he wasn't the mvp of the match. Sekita was the mvp against serbia. Ishikawa also topped the scoring department against Iran yet Yamamoto, their libero was named as the mvp of the match. I'm not sure on how they determine who will be the mvp of the match. I just know that anyone from team japan can be named as the mvp. They all deserve it.

Their blocking is mid compared to bigger teams. They are one of the best in floor defense tho.

Обязательно запросит повтор или изобразит из себя жертву несправедливости.
