Thanks Steven for the event and the interview! I had fun hanging out with like minded people👍 I’m gonna check the video periodically and try to answer the questions!
The Gobi ladder is really neat I also have one on my element. I bought it to use a rooftop tent. I just don’t have a tent so the ladder is for looks right now lol
aw man, you guys have brought into my awareness another brand that i need to nerd out all about! i didn't know much about Snow Peak!! this is going to be a problem hahahah 😅
Just stripped out my element and getting ready to reseal the rear windows (got a leak somehow by the driverside rear window) and then I want to start doing a camper build! Love these videos to see what people have done so far!
@@Adrian_Lee6113 technically yes we started it up in 2020. It’s definitely do for a re-vamp since things have grown so much. I may look into it for now the TH-cam comments is the best place to connect 🫠
I had the same issue and set up with my 05 regarding the storage net. I managed to remove the buckle and adjust it just enough to put an end to it hitting the plastic. It was driving me nuts and I had to change. I really like the rear window cover that allows for hanging gear. I'm definitely stealing that idea. I might have missed it, but did you cover the tire size? Looks like a slightly larger than stock fit. Great video and killer rig!
Hi @Dave Thanks for the question! It is a Toyo Open Country AT III and is a 215/65R17. The 17” wheels came with the car when I bought it from the original owner!
@@daricefrost664 Hi and thanks for the question! I just used a zip tie and strapped it to the seatbelt and hook! Pretty simple and it holds up since the gear isn’t heavy. I might try to find a better black one in the future🤞
If I were to do Van-Living, I would make a no-build build like this one. IMO, keeping the van flexible for multi-purpose is important. - Once things start to get screwed into the walls, ceiling and floor, sure it's more cozy and homey.... but the flexibility of use of the vehicle is lost. I guess it's a tradeoff.
Yeah that’s 100% true! I’ve been playing around with a no build myself and it’s honestly really nice to have the headroom! A cargo box can add a lot of space too.
Thanks @FeedScrn for the comment! Definitely wanted to be flexible. I currently removed everything in my Element and it’s super useful moving all my stuff in the apartment to the rental storage 😂
@@StephenAldaco I'll look at the manual for my smaller Jackery; maybe it advises against it; he seems much more thorough than myself; the kind of fellow who would look it up to avoid damaging the unit. Great channel!
@@RESTLESS_OKIE Hi and thanks for the suggestion! Yeah I definitely thought about it, but I was told that it was limited to 1 for a reason and it made sense 😅 I should ask Jackery directly just in case because it would definitely help to have an extra outlet to power my other gear at the same time!
I love that gear snow peak is an amazing company
Snow Peak’s gear is 🤌🤌
This is a really great build! @Snow Peak would be so lucky to sponsor this guy.
For sure I love this build! We need some snow peak gear maybe haha
Thanks Kenji for showing us your Build! Learn more about him using the link in the description.

These videos are so dope, just got an element so love to see everyone’s layout
Thank you! I just posted a new one for ya 😜
Also congratulations on the element!
Love snowpeak cooking pots and pans. So light
Nice build. I must have missed something but where does he sleep? Outside in a tent?

Nice! Which RTT are you thinking? I’m in the market as well. CVT looks good & roofnest. I hear you need a roof rack also not just bars.

nooooo Snow Peak's products and website are unparalleled and so beautiful!!!!! hahah
Yup because of Kenji we are all now broke LOL there stuff is too notch.
Great tour Stephen! Really enjoyed this one and man this is a great setup.
I'm considering the swivel seat 🤔
Miguel is waiting for your call my dude! Do it
You didn't explain the "molle" panels in the rear windows used for storage. Is that pegboard threaded with paracord?
I like this simple no clutter style
I wish I could keep my E this clean haha. Gotta try harder.

So cool man! I’m so happy when element owners find my channel. Good luck with the repairs & the build 👍
@@StephenAldaco I’m pumped! Do you have a discord channel for your element community by any chance?

Once again while watching one of these videos I must ask -- if this is your home, where do you put your clothes?

Will have to ask Kenji about the tires! But yeah that is a clever idea for the rear storage much cheaper than Molli panels!
@@StephenAldaco Do you know how he attached those panels?

Yeah Snow Peak!!!
@@Kai77-24 Thanks!!! I hope I will one day haha Once I do, I will let you guys know on my channel!!
Where can that camping table be purchased?
Snow peaks website should have everything
Does any one know where I can buy the Gobi ladder for my element?
gobiracks.com

How tall is he?
Why can't he use a power strip with his Jackery?
That’s a good point maybe he never thought of it haha. I’ll let him know!

Also cooking?
I believe he has a bbq set up in there.
Crazy how you got through the whole tour and did not talk about how he sleeps in there with that desk lol
I assume he’s sleeps in the tent and sleeping bag he mentioned
1. Size always matter. 2. He can get a power strip to charge more then 1 thing.
Check out Weight Watchers!
Wym?
I guess I will have to loose weight? 😅
Where does he sleep?
He sleeps on the space next to the desk.
i want kenji to be my dad :3
Same cute 🥰
Bro spent more money than rent on bougie chopsticks and gear.
Stephen-Yo,fatnastic ~ =)
Thank you bro! Kenji is the man I love his build!
Thanks 🙏 Had super fun building it!
