I love watching your vlogs, I live in a city and I’m on a waitlist for a small plot in a community garden. I don’t have access to dirt, so I live vicariously through you. I am inspired. Thank you for your content, thank you for sharing your life.
It needs fresh bedding of woodchips and it is easier to put in with the tractor while the animals are out than it is to wheelbarrow in when the chickens are in there since the tractor would freak them out and issues of them escaping.
It's not good for them, but my chickens wouldn't eat the plants at all anyway, just the fruit. Also you shouldn't leave the plants there just to compost, as it can harbor diseases. So tomatoes are best being pulled and composted in the woods not for the garden use, or to dry and burn the plants and you could pour the ash on the garden.
Justin…watch out for the chickens pecking and destroying the greenhouse plastic down low…mine sometime peck holes in the plastic…could be costly damage on such a large greenhouse.
He was wise to put wire up inside to help protect the plastic and he has the boards down all around the greenhouse bottom. it was nice of you to bring that up.

But she doesn’t can. What waste goes on and I’m sure all of it isn’t shown.
I love watching your vlogs, I live in a city and I’m on a waitlist for a small plot in a community garden. I don’t have access to dirt, so I live vicariously through you. I am inspired. Thank you for your content, thank you for sharing your life.
I love you and the way you raise your family❤❤❤
Curious, why not let the chickens have at the tomato plants for a couple of days before putting in the wood chips?
tomato plants are toxic to chickens. Fruit is ok, but not the actual plants.
Hi.... Justin Rhodes and Rebecca and nice to see you all, thank you for showing your video homestead chicken Duck Goose farmer garden 👋 bye 👋 bye 👋 bye 👋 👕🐔🐓🐥🐕🐈🐑🐄🐖🐇🌱🌺🌹🌿🌻🌸🍀🌷🏡🎥👍👍👍
I'm glad you are feeling better.
Watching Justin with my grand baby. Never thought about it but it's been a wonderful experiance. Shes 5 months and likes to yell with Henry. Lol.
Great work Jonah!
I love how personal your vlogs have become since Rooted started. I loved yall before but now it's just so much more. Also totally saving up for a high tunnel just because I saw you do this last year and was like yes! I need that system
Do you know you can contact the NRCS of the US government and they can help you afford a high tunnel? There should be a branch of it in your county if you live in the US.
You should employ Jonah to organise your whole farm. He's good at it.
Jonah and the 2 older Josiah and Lillie really bust their booties on that place. VERY hard working children. Could show many adults a thing or 10 for sure.
And being entertained, Justin!!! 👏👏👏
I've been watching your videos for the last three years and you always inspire and teach me many different things of the homestead lifestyle. Keep up the great videos my family and I are going to sellnour property in ky next year to look for more acreage to build our forever homestead.
Blessings to all!
Thank You. I'm back in. I understand why you do what you do. I get i and appreciate how you do everything. Bless you. :)
Yes! Time change is confusing my eternal clock for sure
Most people go to church on Sunday when possible
I think that's part of what he meant but he phrased it to include anyone and not offend.
@@ericcawith2cs11 I didn't know going church offend some people.wow strange world we are living in.
@@kristineodongo9357 It sure is.
Justin, would love to know where you got your kitchen sink from! We are remodeling our kitchen and that is exactly what I’m looking for.
Me and my son love to watch you guys..my son especially loves to watch mr Brown and he has really gone from losing his shoes to now milking cow which has made my son help me in the garden..still waiting to hear if we can get the rooted life spiral book from you..would really love spiral book which would be practical for us to use..much love from Kenya.
I have the cheapie channel, and i totally enjoy you and the family thank you
Your comment about cows don’t do time change reminds me of a friend I visited in England. They had clock in the kitchen that didn’t change because her dad milked buy that clock year round. His reason was that cows don’t do time change.
That's a good idea. Keep a cow clock!
Lily's hair cut is ADORABLE!!
I have a premium annual subscription to Abundance Plus and love it, but I still come here to watch your vlogs
