Max seems like a good kid. For as much opportunity as he was naturally afforded, he probably has to deal with that much more hate and backlash (e.g nepotism). It's gotta be pretty tough.
Fortunately he’s a drummer, and a really good one at that. That’s a kind of skill that speaks for itself. No matter how much nepotism is involved, drums is really a “you can or you can’t” kinda thing.
I cannot explain how hyped I am for this Tallah record. I've followed Justin for a long time and this EP has been my go to since it's release. So heavy, disgusting, disturbing, experimental. It's such a ridiculously fun listen front to back.
Justin looks so happy!! I’m so glad it’s confirmed you guys are working on more Tallah. I assumed you were but so glad to hear it come from you. CANT WAIT.
longinus cyclone that’s pretty much my main problem with nu metal. I love the nu metal idea, but not many of the bands or albums in that genre. I like Linkin Park,From Ashes to New,Slipknot, and Dangerkids if they count. I like the Train of Thought and Themata albums from Dream Theater and Karnivool. Aside from that,I really don’t like any other nu metal bands or albums. Korn,System of a Down,Disturbed,Deftones,Godsmack, Sevendust, etc have never interested me. I’m hoping more great nu metal bands come in the future, but for now I’ll have to stick with the 4 bands I listen to at the moment.
I've been following Justin since the Amnaeon days, and it's so great to see him getting some recognition! If anyone deserves it, it's him. He has a new solo album out, Mudoo Ra, y'all should check it out
Justin Bonitz is one of the sickest singers I have ever heard. The dude gives it his all from his toes to the top of head. If you stumble on this and haven't heard him check out Tallah, and his TH-cam channel Hungry Lights.
Dude, how have you not heard Disillusion? Back To Times Of Splendor should be required listening for every fan of metal. It's a freakin masterpiece and just as amazing today as it was 16 years ago.
I am a Slipknot fan since like...22 years...I started to hear Tallah a couple of weeks ago by chance, because o Spotify. I am addicted to it! I end up on this youtube video and discovered that Max is inspired by Slipknot! I knew that there was a connection...
Hey man you're on a video about Tallah, you're in a much better spot than people your age that ONLY listen to what they liked as a kid. Embracing the new generation is awesome!
Crazy 20+ years of slipknot. When slipknot came around metallica had only been around a little over 15 years. That's weird to think about... slipknot is officially oldschool.
I remember watching amnaeon skits and aorta borealis and im so happy to see justin back with hungry lights and hungry potoos and tallah. Im so proud he made it to loudwire cuz he is such a kick ass vocalist. Jared dines knows how to pick em
A large amount of Linkin Park’s fans love their nu metal music and don’t like anything else from them, and they’re one of the most popular bands of the 2000’s. That alone tells me there’s still a strong nu metal fan base.
If I wasn’t a nurse I’d get afew tiny stars like that tatted on my face. I use to hand draw them with liquid eyeliner. Fuck what anyone else thinks. They look rad
I'm surprised he didn't mention Jonathan Davis as an inspiration for his vocal style. Because in a lot of Tallah's songs I get a ton of Korn vibes, including the vocals.
@@aaryamannambiar6677 Honestly, I have not listened to much Korn or Slipknot. I know a handful of songs here and there, but I was way more into Disturbed and System Of A Down. Also, do not get me wrong! Corey, Chester, and JD were definitely influences on me, just not as big as you would think. I copy other more obscure vocalists and because of the timbre of my voice, I end up with a similar sound as the more mainstream guys, you know what I mean? -Justin

The track that got me into heavy stuff when I was a tiny toddler in the late 60s was The Nile Song by Pink Floyd, and later on Careful with that Axe Engine, One of these Days 👍😀🐕🎸
Check out Max's other band, Next To None (but not the song Apple). They are like baby Dream Theater.
