The ceiling! The fireplace! The notice board! The wall details in the common room and around the windows! The custom lamp on that one desk! The no-CC art used to its maximum potential! The BEDS. And all that personality in the little things lying about, in the posters on the walls, the personal belongings under nightstands and on beds ... You do not disappoint. This continues to be just as amazing as it started out. Ah, you made my day with just this short video! 🥰

I seriously *cannot* believe how little views your videos seem to have, when there are so many other HP build videos out there with far less attention to detail and love/care put into them. Yes I would have liked to as well, but unfortunately there just wasn’t room 😭 Trying to fit such a massive castle on a 64x64, while honoring both the interior and exterior appearance, posed a real builders challenge haha. This was my compromise of the two ☺️ But so glad you like it!

It is! I spent a great deal of time playtesting the entire castle. And thank you ☺️
I watched all three videos and you really blew my mind with this. How you used all these debug objects to build the castle was stunning and you're indoor decorating skills are just as good. But that this is cc free on top all of that is just crazy. How did you figure out which objects to use? And how did you came up with so many creative ways of using them? When I try to build something so huge in the Sims it, most of the time, never really works starting by the floorplan xD. But honestly, do you have any tipps for mediocre hobby builders like me?
Thank you again for another kind comment! I am very happy you liked these hogwarts videos! This build is an exception the the norm, as I have been perfecting it for 2 years. So I don’t even compare my own normal builds to it lol. My tip #1 if you want to advance your build skills would be to learn the TOOL mod, that is how I did all the custom made objects Ie. the fireplace, lecturn, points counter, etc. But other players dont need the mod to download TOOL builds as-is. Then its just a matter of scouring the BB catalogue for objects you can combine to get the look you want. With practice, you start to learn what your options are, and I have a few go-to favorites that I use for crafting. But sometimes it does just take hours of scouring BB to find things that work. Definitely not for the faint of heart, but if enjoy building and don’t mind devoting some time, it can be a lot of fun! At the end of the video series I will upload a tutorial video on how I made some of the intricate crafted objects, so stay tuned for that 🙂 And best of luck on your building journey!

How do you change the ceiling like that tho? Wow
I used TOOL to rotate the My Wedding Stories dance floors, that way they are invisible from above and don’t affect gameplay :) And you don’t need the mod to download the build as-is!

Not me watching on 0.5 speed to absorb EVERY LITTLE DETAIL and try to remember as much as I can. The fireplace blew me away💥. Also, what did you use as a ceiling? It looked like a rug, but I once tried to elevate rug with TOOL and it completely dissapeard so... 🙈😅
Thank you! The ceiling is a floor tile rug like object. I indeed used TOOL to elevate, but you also have to rotate 180 degrees because rugs are invisible from the back. Hope that helps!
did you use objects from which packages of the sim?
I don’t remember which packs I used in this particular room, but I own all the packs and did not restrict them for this build, so I would guess it is several. Hope that helps 🙂
