I don't have birds but I do have cats that also hate going to the Vet. I have to lure the cat (with treats) that's is going to the Vet into the bathroom and shut the door. The cats can't run away or hide in there. Then I get the carrier. (if I get it BEFORE the cat is sequestered, forget it. They know the sound of the carrier and will run and hide) Then I go into the bathroom with the carrier and with a little bit of struggle, get the cat in the carrier! Then once at the Vet, the cat doesn't want to come out of the carrier! 😬

I can think of at least 2 occasions when our cat outsmarted us and was unretrievable to take her to the vet. they were thankfully very understanding (happens a lot apparently!)
