Yes, Genius has an in-built glide path that reduces volatility as investor comes closer to the terminal goal. The algorithm is able to do that well because each of the 6 strategies already have a targeted volatility.
Well, since you can't drive our car .. maybe you can withdraw your funds 1 or 2 years before your goal terminates and try your luck with asset allocation & rebalancing

Hi, can you pls share if ET money is planing to enter into stock trading?? if not, can you please share how can I transfer my mutual funds to Zerodha since I want to use my funds as collateral margin for trading by pledging it..
Assuming you have less than 5 years for the goal which is your marriage and that goal most likely to be preponed or postponed. So we can't take much risk. Plan is pretty simple... Invest in breakable fixed deposit. May be if you are damn sure that your marriage will not be for first 1 or 2 years, please invest in non-breakable FD. No need for debt and equity mutual funds and stocks...
@@parthaganguly8608 Few banks offers FD starting with 10k. If your monthly investment is less than that, accumulate for 2-3 months and start breakable FD for 10k.
@@kmbala555 Ok Thanks for your information.I invest some in equity,some in corporate debt mutual fund and sip in it.My equity investments are in loss.Should I hold?
@@parthaganguly8608 Few points for investing, 1) Without a goal, don't invest (including debt and equity investments) 2) Choose a suitable asset allocation (like 30% debt + 70% equity) 3) Invest as per that asset allocation like a machine (mostly do invest in salary day, don't check whether market is low or high) 4) Increase investments as much as possible 5) Rebalance (Reset) your portfolio when the deviation in asset allocation is 5% or more. (You can choose other technical way like 200 moving average or anything...) 6) Reduced equity exposure before you need the money. (Equity exposure should be less than 20% when goal is just 2-3 years away) Answer for your question (Should I hold?) is 5th point.
@10:10 - TRUST BUT VERIFY
That's very important. Generally, the more we trust someone, the lesser we verify their claims.

Is it best to invest With option of SWP and reinvest or keep invested in market
We have not come across a universally acceptable advise on this.
You have to pay taxes when you redeem... So I think stay invested is good idea.
