Believing in the law of attraction, or manifesting your desires into being, leads you to believe that you are your own god. Manifesting is creating your own reality. But what about God’s sovereignty? Our God is in heaven; He does whatever pleases Him (Psalm 115:3). Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails (Proverbs 19:21). We can make our plans, but the Lord determines our steps (Proverbs 16:9). - Crosswalk
I am glad you put this subject up! There are also many christian pages are preaching these kinds of prosperity gospel because people wants to hear that they can get whatever they want.

Don’t make a idol out of the things you desire. That’s literally the easiest way NOT to manifest what you want. It’s about having a healthy connection with WHY and WHAT you want. It’s okay to want things. Manifesting is knowing what you want and casting down the thoughts that don’t align with what God has for you!

I too manifest but I’m thinking good thoughts getting close to God! She is preaching it in a bad way … yes what she is saying yes that’s wrong but that’s not manifesting …. Yall read for yourself! Study for yourself! God will not put the desire of becoming a wife if he didn’t have a husband for you out there until u position yourself and get closer to God and manifest speaking and acting as though you have it now !!! It will come it’s true …

Thanks for clarifying this. People need to know the difference between faith and manifesting. Manifesting is “New Age” and hence from the little god. Having faith that our Heavenly Father will give us the “desires of our heart” if we put him first and if it is right for us is the way that allows us to sleep at night, soundly...🙏
Thank you for this timely message, I was beginning to allow my aspirations and goals to consume me. I was beginning to obsese over my business and pushing for sales. I was spending too much time on social media. The Holy Spirit slowed me down. It's like I heard the Lord say, focus on me, trust me. 🙌 I want to stay in the will of God for my life🙌
So as Christians what about vision/dream boards??

Success is obedience to God. Period. Whatever He gives and takes away - I am okay with that Lord. Though I will make my plans, and prepare for things - I am surrender to You Lord and You get the ultimate sway over my heart and mind and steps. Amen.

Thank you very much for the great message that makes clear the lines to draw in the sand (so to speak) especially to the Body of Christ pertaining to this New age belief of manifestation. The deception is beginning to run rampant in the household of faith and I pray that this message is an undoing of the deception of manifestation outside of the scriptural admonition that in Christ we are complete and have the fullness of Him. Yup this happened to me just ended my 3 year old relationship.. Funny thing I was Happy single b4 but I met the guy that had all in my list... Well he looked like he did it turn into a Nightmare... I decided to be obedient and end the relationship loving the person I am allowing God to choose for me this time... I turned 30 and I am a female we are in the Middle of a pandemic... It is scary I decided to trust Him.

I have been praying for my new business but was not reading my Bible like I should have. I also have not been consistent in my business and God has been letting me know this. I have asked him to help me with the business but has not used the opportunities He opened up. I loved that you went to Proverbs 10:4. I will used that as my encouragement. Thank you for tackling this topic. Many are misleading people because they are misled. God manifests all we need. I can give God the desires of my heart. He will always do what is best for me.
do you think that the things Terri Savelle teaches is biblical though because she talks about vision board being biblical and about the law of attraction being biblical and she teaches these things based on the secret but also talks about prayer aswell so it seems mixed
I felt that when listening to her to discard things that sound "new age" but only keep what's truly bible based. Instead of saying law of attraction I pray for God to lead and direct me and to have the Holy Spirit lead me not my vision board or desires.

That’s not exactly true when I manifest I pray to God and I think good thoughts and love myself… not become God noooo but they why u explain it yes it’s wrong but your all thinking about the wrong thing ! Manifest is removing things and people that are not good for you ! Manifest is not a bad thing yall making it bad by making it an idol …. SMH 🤦🏿♀️ y’all don’t read books 📚

It can be very challenging being almost 38 and not married. It's not that you idolize it but after a certain age you wonder why has it not happened. I don't think that's a huge thing to ask for especially when marriage is God's plan. Especially when you have been through the season of testing in regards to relationships and preparation.
When you fast n pray, what does God say about it ?

Marriage is not a guarantee for everybody and who says God's plan for you specifically bis marriage. I understand where you are coming from as we are the same age and I'm single and childless. But you need to get to a mindset of even if you don't get married you will still worship and serve God regardless of whether you are married have children.
@@MichElle-py8lk the hardest part about this is feeling like your heart’s desires are being divinely invalidated. A woman has a sincere desire for marriage and kids but you’re being told to love God (more) whether He gives you those things or not. I don’t think that that’s fair and it’s lowkey gaslighting (whether a person intends for that to be it or not). It would be easier to take if God told you from the jump that that’s not what He has for you in His plan for your life so that you don’t keep hoping and breaking your own heart with deferred (or unfulfilled) hope, and rather focus on what He does have for you. That’s just my two cents on the matter. From my own personal standpoint, I’m over it. God’s going to have to surprise me at this point. Also, please note that I’m saying this without trying to come off as cynical or curt to anyone coz I personally know what it’s like (although I’m not 38). I genuinely say this with love.
@@JaxMchunu God's way is higher than own. His thoughts our higher than our own thoughts. He's Alpha and Omega. We don't always understand God's way. But as the word says we delight in the Lord. He alone is our joy. I have searched high and low for a mate my hope is to be married and have children but if we keep focusing on what we what and believe what we want is going to bring us joy it becomes on idol in our lives and it does destroy us. I've been through it so I know. Also why should God tell us what he has for us, he is God! Our job is to trust him and worship him not demand and tell us what our life is going to be like. It comes across as pride as it's saying I'm so important and you (God) need to tell me what my life is going to be. God loves us and has a great plan for our lives. Regardless of what happens we need to trust and have our joy in the Lord.

Chanting is wrong? However,.as Christians it's ok for us to speak in tongues? Oh yea,.because we "say" it's the Holy Spirit.. As a Christian, I'm learning to accept practices of other religions. Who are we to say that it's wrong??

This is so good! It takes the spirit of discernment to know this bc the devil try to come in the most subtle ways. Manifestations is the new age religion. I’m not manifesting nothing without God. His timing is perfect and if he want me to have something he will make sure I get it. My job is to follow him .

I love just about everything you've stated here...but the enemy doesn't have the ability to read our thoughts. It's not until we begin to speak on it will he know our desires.
Of course he can't, but he sees your confession, conversation, search for ____ and he's studied you and generations before you. He literally roams around like a lion looking to destroy you. He sees your ACTIONS.
What do you mean he can't read our thoughts?
I just started binge watching a few of her videos. But, actually like everyone else, I was also misinformed. How I know this, a therapist I knew, had mentioned she had bought her daughter one of those "mediums" people use to connect with spirits and the future etc. She said they both completely freaked out, because on several occasions while using it, they would ask it to reveal exactly what the other person was thinking. It would reveal each of their thoughts verbatim (in exact worded detail) even though neither of them ever had any clue of what each were randomly thinking. Humans seem to project our own limited ability onto supernatural creatures. And because we aren't one, it's surprising how complex, mysterious and dangerously powerful these wicked spirits are. Of course, The Most High (Yahweh) His Son and Angels are much more powerful. This isn't to disrespect Heather, I just felt compelled to share helpful knowledge. Stay 🙏 up everyone!
I hope this doesn’t come across offensive to anyone. First let me say, I do agree that manifesting should have a foundation. When you focus on the thing, more than the why, that’s where things go wrong. I know Heather is preaching from biblical principles, but not everyone is religious and not everyone is Christian. Doesn’t mean that they don’t believe in God but maybe it just means that they have a Universal idea of who God is and not just limiting the belief to Christianity or any religion. God to me is essentially LOVE! We are all really just trying to make our return back to LOVE. Whether it be through religion or not. I think it would be dope if we all could be more accepting of that 💛
But she is using biblical principles and she is a Christian so she is preaching from her belief and by the Holy spirit of Yahweh. People cannot accept what they do not believe. What's for you take and if its not speak on what you believe on your page. Continue to free the people heather in Jesus name.

i have a lot of questions regarding this because this came at a time i am really working on myself to fully have faith in God. It's true the foundation of the asking matters alot and not idolizing what one wants. However, i find the "manifestation" aspect prints throughout the Bible. From Matthew 7:7, mark 11: 22-24 whatever you as believe you have received it and it will be yours" does the aspect of believing that its already yours idolizing?, Joel 3:10 does say let the poor say they are rich..hebrews 11:1 .. evidence of things not seen., proverbs 23: 7 as a man thinketh so is he?? ephesians 3: 20- What does all these bible verses and many more pointing to meditation, thoughts and visualization actually mean? Does it mean that there are things that us as christians are blind yet they are in our Bible but he worldly people know? sorry for long post, i am just a curios christian ready to learn.
God is more than enough.
