We Learn We Share,Global air circulation refers to the large-scale movement of air around the Earth, driven by differences in atmospheric pressure, temperature, and other factors. The circulation patterns are influenced by the rotation of the Earth, the distribution of land and water, and the absorption and reflection of solar radiation.
The global air circulation is divided into three major cells: the Hadley cell, the Ferrel cell, and the Polar cell. The Hadley cell is located near the equator and is responsible for the trade winds, which blow from east to west. The Ferrel cell is located between the Hadley and Polar cells and is responsible for the westerlies, which blow from west to east. The Polar cell is located near the poles and is responsible for the polar easterlies, which blow from east to west.
the Coriolis force causes moving air masses or water currents to be deflected to the right in the Northern Hemisphere and to the left in the Southern Hemisphere.
The global air circulation also creates high and low pressure systems, which are responsible for the formation of weather Earth's climate. #geography #weather #southafrica #map
