Well done legend. that wallaby will remember you. I rescued one once that was caught up in vines around it's neck and it also scratched and bit me. Couple of weeks later i was out walking the same trail and he was there and literally took a steps towards me and had a placid look like he was saying thank you.

Nick, i wonder why old mate was taking his boat down the boat ramp forwards not going in reverse. to submerge the the ute and the trailer to get the boat back on the trailer method isnt a good idea with the tide rising. Anyway great work PD Nick they may have you going down to your boat ramp for more car and boat trailer rescues.
