Hey! Q for u. I’ve got one of these and have used it a few times for summer/spring camping. Do you find that it adds any R value or perceived R value for winter? It would be with floorless tipi setup. I’m curious if I can get away with my cheap inflatable pad or if I still need to invest in a 4-5R pad. I’m backpacking so weight is a factor but comfort is big too… tent is not stoved yet.
Can you sleep on this thing alone without any pad?
