Welcome! Actually, the original FL Studio script had all the buttons remapped, to better fit the workflow in FL Studio. I started from that script, so for now I left most of the buttons like that (I did change one or two, however). There is also a script by another developer, IgneButene, where the buttons are more like they are in Logic, should you prefer that. We sometimes look at each other's code, so she also applied some of the fixes that I did in my script to her script. But I don't think her script has support for multiple extenders.

thank you very much for your work on scripting, and for pointing to the FL Studio problems. My biggest issue is the FL Studio lack of Linux support , wich stops me from buying this particular DAW wich seems so nice to use .

Amazing that you make this available to all of us! also, I've been very curious if its possible for channels to be grouped with commands from the x touch (subgroups). Do you think this is possible? and also being able to change audio inputs of a channel for external recording, and moving channels around in the mixer.
Do you mean channels in the channel rack? Perhaps some of those things are possible, but I'd have to do some research first. In any case, I won't be working on the script until my upcoming EP/album is released, and that will still take a couple of months. After that I'd like to put some more work in the script, perhaps these are some things I can have a look at, then.
@@SirFreak Sorry for not being clear. I meant mixerchannels, to make subgroups in the mixer, which would be awesome for workflow. Thanks for your work and good luck with your EP!
@@sightlok FL Studio does not really have grouped mixer tracks, but you can route tracks to other tracks and put dividers between tracks, which can give you a similar look. Definitely feel like a control surface can speed up work flow. Got this one on the way… Question about your script: Have you gotten a chance to update it since this Video?
Sadly, not yet (apart from some small bugfixes). I'm first finishing my new album, after that I'll probably work on the script a little. So you can probably expect updates in a couple of months.
@@SirFreak I have a question would there be a way to get all leds that aren’t in use to be white until pushed. That way for dark studios it would be easier to see, also to activate leads on the transport buttons? Does this make since?
