I am so glad I came across your video after taking out the locks that I've had for like about 3 years. My sides is just like your hair so I see that there is hope for my hair now❤

I always find it strange girls who take so much time and attention to perfecting their wigs, but completely neglect their nature hair. Can you even call it a "protective style" if you real hair is damaged and broken off??? Ladies, we have to do better.

@@carolineAnyah No shade...just stating the obvious. You are too talented to not take care of your natural hair.

If you watched the video.. which I hope you did bc you got too much to say. She says she can’t really manage, doesn’t like it and is trying to embrace it starting with the yes, the protective style we just watched her do.

I see where you heart is at, but you delivery is not it. My “talents” do not have anything to do with my natural hair…. Just like how not everyone is great with wigs same with styling natural hair. I don’t have much experience and honesty it’s not main focus (sue me) to even make working with it easier I recently relaxed it but it’s been 6 months since so I have lots of new growth and breakage from not knowing how to keep up with it. So I’m back on learning how to take care of my new hair texture but while I do that i don’t mind showing others who are in my postion, how to embrace their hair and not always feel the need to hide it. Sure I’d love to have healthy natural hair, n yes there’s neglect on my aspect but it’s what I got n I’m going to show others how to work with it.

@@carolineAnyah Sorry for my delivery. I just notice so many wig "gurus' on here who can't survive in real life wearing their natural hair. They look like completely different people without a wig. Natural hair is fragile. I get it. But that just means it needs all the same TLC, if not more, so it can flourish. There are many professional hairstylists, so if you "don't have much experience and it's not your main focus", then perhaps seeking out someone who does? But you're right. It's your hair, your choice. Peace out, girl scout!
