To je podle videa nejkrásnější potapěčská destinace, kterou jsem viděl.Doporučuji i Palau, jenž vypadá hodně podobně,ale množstvím žraloků je o maličko menší.

Beautiful to see so much life in a place that has remained unspoilt. Important not to touch the coral.

Hi - dive 2 starts around 26 m and stays around that depth for most of the shark action. The drift at the end is obviously much more shallow. Have a great time in Fakarava.

Thanks for the great video jsudive! I'm going to Fakarava next month for first time.
At what depth is the 2nd dive with all the sharks?

Funny how they are talking about conservation, yet sitting and holding onto the corals. So disrespectful.

If there would be no paying divers that hold on to some corals .... there wouldnt be an reason or income of money to protect the area.
As noticed in the Video there is a lot of current, so sometimes you have to grab and hold onto a coral or stone. For sure a good diver trys to avoid holding onto a living coral.... but sometimes that doesnt work. (For sure there are always idiots..) As long as the diving there is expensive these divers wont make an big impact on the ecosystem. If u compare this diving spot to others in the world, which havent been protected, and where u wont find sustainable ecotourism iam happy with the divers touching some corals.
Or would you prever an unprotected area? Instead of divers Fisherboats and Shark finning? This always remebers me on the People/Divers who go out on a dive and blame everyone for touching anything (They are right with that), but at dinner they sitting and eat the fresh fish they refused to touch before ...
      Cheers
