Jean Paul overall was amazing to experience. A solo lone wolf who wasn’t part of any gang. First 2 man heist with Molly, Did the first solo fleeca, the first solo Paleto, first 10k hand of black Jack, he got to the vault without being in a gang, did the rainbow road heist, went from -90k debt to owning the only Lambo and most expensive owned car in game, had the biggest criminal record by a long shot, he dumped so many cop cars into the ocean they made new laws to deal with him but that only made him do it more, did the first jewellery store heist, had connections with all the gangs in the city, had a number 1 song on the charts, first attempted prison break. Managed to do 10 bank jobs in a row without getting caught...the list can go on - It may not have been pretty at times, but it was an amazing experience. RIP Jean Paul

Actually he can't roleplay very well. He's an action junkie and as soon as he's bored he tunes out, which is why you can't see him having long conversations. Continuesly beating people up or shooting them isn't roleplay.

xQc came to nopixel for 1 thing, he wanted to conquer the city, and so he did, he got his achievement, Good job Jean Paul, An absolute LEGEND!
The more I’m watching this the more I’m reminded about the Stanford Prison Experiment. If you don’t know what that is I HIGHLY recommend to look it up. Long story short, Zimbardo got volunteers to play prison guards and prisoners and within a few days, prison guards abused their powers in authoritarian ways and treated the prisoners like shit and gave them shitty living spaces. The whole experiment is fucked up and I’m slowly seeing that being translated here.
Yep, thought the exact same thing. And it's like that in almost every single GTA RP video I've seen, from multiple creators. The cops take their job way too fucking serious. And don't get me wrong, it's fine to RP as a cop, do your job, arrest people. But the people who rp as cops take things personally. They actually believe they have power, that they are the superhero defenders of the made up world, and they apply themselves fully to it. "NO FUN CAN BE HAD! I AM THE LAW! The Stanford Prison Experiment was found to be fraudulent for a while now. For example, the prison guards abused their power because they were asked to, which is completely different from what we thought was their own volition.

It's not just in GTA RP btw, I've played enough multiplayer games of different kinds to see the same pattern repeated over and over again.

I can’t relate because I got into it heavy because I started watching critikal. But I’d imagine X had a much bigger impact; even many newly found longtime players like rated or ramee would even admit as much because they grew insanely huge because of him in recent months. To think that one moment changed your entire trajectory and gave you a literal career to sit cushioned on.
I remember this one streamer I think it was X’s 2nd ban; he was talking about his ban he got and was like at the end of the day man; I was able to get some food for the framily, pay some medical bills for my aunt; get a better bed to support my old grandparents. And continued if that means a little bit of craziness in the city then so be it. He inadvertently changed many and mine lives; and irl changes matters a whole lot more than some bs with characters that don’t exist.
"Gets shot in the head 10 times" still manages to remain conscious enough to recognize the perps voice.. this mans ability to withstand 10 bullets to the dome is astounding and completely realistic.

I read a comment that reminded me of the Stanford Prison Experiment. If you havent seen it watch a video on it, because I think this rp server draws some serious connections. The cops are anonymous, have power, can use rp as an excuse, and the crims are dehumanized by all of it being in a game. Honesty some social scientists should study this server for human behavioural information

@@UmiZoomR because the Stanford prison experiment was rumoured to have been rigged; some of the guards claimed they were told to be disciplinary, rather than seeing if it would naturally occur, which is what the study is essentially on. And there is significant enough evidence that some scientist disregard the conclusions in the study. Plus I think this obviously doesn’t directly map to the Stanford prison experiment. Obviously it’s takes place in a different era and online. Social standards have changed, and there is many more subjects taking part so a more accurate conclusion may be able to be drawn.
I think that this nopixel situation and environment really shows the results like Stanford prison experiment. And can be taken as actual case study.

@Bluedream the game is called Grand Theft Auto, the default cops in the game don't care about speeding, and only Crims have a limit(that is enforced) on how many people are allowed to be part of any given operation. But sure; cops are supposed to rob people, harass individuals to create a situation where they're "resisting arrest" for not wanting to be detained without proof of reason

-The lifer who called X had his phone number, obviously got it outside the game. He also used voice changer to make himself sound like an admin so xqc thought it's a "special mission". Should be banned.
-How did 7 lifers in nighttime could recgonize X inside a moving helicopter and "testify" against him, based on voice ID. Even if they somehow saw him, how did they know his name? they should have just described his look. Should be banned.
-Wrangler comes without solid evidance and arrests X and searches him and NOW he has the helicopter papers (evidance) so he puts a warrent on him, breaking the law as a police officer. Should be fired/banned.
-The way Wrangler just sticks up in X's ass 24/7 and the way any robbery X is involved in has like 20 police cars and 2 helicopters in the chase and they dive in front of a moving car just so they can claim that he rammed them then they open fire.
-Streamsnipers going after X's vehicles and destroying them for no reason multiple times and people treat xqc like a crazy person when he says he's sure it was 100% health.
-XQC has keeps malding cause of the rulebreakers that don't get banned and the unfair arrests because of bullshit evidance or streamsniper destroying escape routes.

Its the admins the devs don’t do that they just work on adding new shit to the game
the bad moments were painful, unmitigated cringe, but the good moments were genuinely wholesome and had me actually laughing to tears. I don't regret watching any of these hours of RP, it was a fun ride.

@@moredcaicyrus2826 honestly most of it isn’t even his fault, yes he has made some mistakes before but if you think about it, he has legit JUST STARTED GTA RP 3-4 MONTHS ago. Most of these guys are RP frogs/veterans with 1k+ hours and so obviously he is going to make mistakes, he tried his hardest to do everything right and he truly enjoyed the game, this was honestly one of his happiest times these past years. So it sucks because most of the people (cops and admins) wanted him gone for mostly reasons that he couldn’t even control tbh

I finally understood it all. You know cops can sometimes be assholes and sometimes felix can be an asshole, when cops do stupid shit to felix nothing is done to them, so felix starts hard malding and doing dumb shit and THEN admins jump in and see the situation and are like: "Well lets ban felix" and its been like this every time if you look back at all the time felix got banned. What a joke, truly disappointing from all angles (admins, cops, felix)
That's not how I see it. xQc just took the game _far_ too seriously for NoPixel standards. NoPixel is about being creative with your RP and making fun interactions out of whatever is thrown at you - and trusting that the others will do what they can to make it fun too. It should be seen like an anime or a cartoon with multiple protagonists (and writers). You have to be someone who wants to try to make the best of the worst situation and make the interactions fun for everyone involved. From what I've seen he did do some creative and fun things, but he had to come out on top in order to enjoy his experience, and that just doesn't work on an RP server. X kept jumping to conspiracy meta theories.

If you did you can say all you want and you would know he always tries his best to create fun rp for all everyday in the start of his stream and the ending of his stream he always says I want to do this type of rp for these people and that, and I want to do better tomorrow and he acknowledges his mistakes. Also, there’s many many clips showing how cops are put on a higher priority in no pixel. Added to that specifically speaking about the last ban he got, penta the guy who caused Felix to get banned said himself he dosnt like Felix irl. If that isn’t hard OOC malding are you even human? Cop acting like he wouldnt have gone to prison if he went with the cops for the helicopter situation. But they would have still sent him. They never let a court case go through without the other person serving time for it first. Suing people in this is pointless because you already had to serve the punishment
I was so mad about this the other day, because they only want "realism" when it benefits them, when a police is shot in the head, they can talk, but a court case, it must apply real life rules!

@@Muskar2I know this is wayyyyyy too late of a response but before that happening in the clip....he had been jailed/searched-frisked or stun locked by cops that only have slight suspicion of him with no intent to rp at all, X was in the wrong completely but when you get fucked over multiple times in any game would make sense to be mad

"Basically a prisoner ratted Jean out, Misa Price found out Jean had been at PBM, and the medics that handled Jean told Wrangler [...] that he came from Burger Shot helipad, later backed up by Ron (Air1) seeing a heli there. Wrangler found the heli and Jean's DNA escaping the pad. And Jean had the rental papers on him when he was detained"
I also saw the long "stun lock" - at least from xQc's perspective - and as far as I recall, I also think it was pretty unfair. But I think it's likely just because the cops are allowed more power abuse in their RP, if they want to. And as far as I've seen, Wrangler and several of the other controversial ones are pretty good RP'ers who are classic cops that have their own rational reasoning for abusing their power, arguing it's for security, teaching a lesson or just simply down-prioritizing the rights of citizens because they're handling multiple issues at once.
And I stand by the opinion that xQc is not a great fit for RPing with those kinds of cops. He easily gets paranoid, holds a grudge, and he is not very flexible when he gets frustrated, which you're actually required to. xQc works better when partnering with Sykkuno, since he's great at making it very obvious to the cops that they're trying to RP being goofy and creative (but still fair - i.e. if they fail their ambitiously stupid escape plan, they're completely willing to lose their money and give the cops some arresting RP), and not just to be megalomaniac money grinder (like single-player GTA, which feels very one-sided and cliché to the cops' RP), which makes it easier to do creative things. xQc is very creative but he's a bad communicator and easily estranges people unless he has great friends translating for him.
I kinda understand where x is coming from but the way he expresses himself and tries to explain himself is really bad it really feels like he escalates alot of shit and then is shocked when he loses the most

Like yeah I get it that he gets fucked over a lot but a majority of the time, he's doing it to himself by not shutting up, he escalates everything and plays the victim and the chat isn't helping much either. Over the past few days I've watch a couple of his gta videos and they all have the general theme of criminal stuff, getting caught and bitching about how he was unfairly caught. Plus his inability to slow down or think of the right words to say leads him into more trouble. I think part of the reason the cops are harder on him is cause they end up seeing him every 2 seconds doing the same shit again. I've watched other streamers like uberhaxornova and he has his run ins with the cops but they're so far and few in-between

Hey Xqc, just wanted to say you've been right about every issue on this server. From the double standards to the reverse bans when you call them out for bannable game breaking anti-rp. Nopixel was a great place because of the people in it, the interactions and the stuff you can do on it that you can't do in real life. They've forced the people that made it fun out and banned the ones that tried to stand up to it. NoPixel isn't fun to watch anymore from anyone's perspective because no one is having fun and you called it. The admins refuse to change and they killed a pretty magical place that brought alot of happiness to millions of people. This place died long before Jean Paul. I'm still with you man, RIP NoPixel.

It actually annoys me more than anything seeing this. XQC has done more for the server that practically anyone, he's made some mistakes but this is getting out of hand. The police are so so salty it's actually ridiculous. He's been the biggest criminal in the city and he did it better than anyone else to the point where the police couldn't take it and in return they tried their best to make X's time in the city miserable.

The way I see it, X provided 2 months of continous examples and reminders of the servers flaws and improvements that cops could have and what ppl do wrong/abuse (beta tester andy was also behind 3 overnight server changes), and if that isnt enough for them to try and improve the state of it, nothing will. Kind of a lost cause. Maybe nopixel 4.0 or something, but police department needs a serious mentality rework.
From pentas angle this was really interesting. He investigated the attempted jailbreak and just found lead after lead that eventually led him to roj Otterman, the helicopter and dna on the roof, Jean Paul in the hospital.. and then he interrogated like 3 prisoners that all backed up each other's statements. It was pretty good. Wish more cops did that sort of thing instead of chasing bank robbers.

No one malds and ruins other peoples rp as often as x did. I agree he’s entertaining when he doesn’t go full mald but when he does he makes no attempt at rp and power games. He should have taken more breaks from the game instead of playing all day and ending up getting to the place he gets. Some cops certainly have issues but everyone else can usually deal with it without getting so upset and crazy.

Was definitely an entertaining time, only recently got into X's content and was fortunate to see him progress on nopixel. Don't get me wrong, what some of the cops did on it was uncalled for and could sense the unfairness and injustice towards the end. I do think however it will do him good having a long break since the constant cycle of crime, getting caught, malding and then ensuing arguments that came after got a bit tiring. The RP sense of it and him interacting with random strangers made some quality content and I'm sure the legacies of all 3 of his characters will be prominent.
