Breathtaking. This has got to be my favourite Berserk video and I can't see any others coming close. I love everything about it and it's going straight into my favourites. I'm sure people who watch this and haven't seen or heard of Berserk will definitely check it out after watching your video.
Sorry man but I've got no love for Griffith, I mean he had everything and he all lost it due to his own accord just to sacrifice and rape those who cared for him the most. Of course he suffered through an entire year of torture but that doesn't justify his disgusting acts past and present.
I've never seen this show but damn this video was so emotional! Even though I don't know the storyline I was really engaged in the video and enjoyed it a lot. Great job!!!!
I've been watching this video a ton, especially because I love the beginning where Casca screams at him about him being a Mad Dog but Griffith being fascinated by Gut's struggle and fight for meaning I was wondering if you could make an emotional video like this but about Guts and his Rage and Struggle. I think you could make something really beautiful with that.
That was wonderful! i love this story man, its so emotional! But it makes sense when you look at it from a philosophical or different perspective, berserk is amazing because of that.

Griffith had just tried to kill himself, and he had also just spent a year resenting Guts. The absolute last thing he wanted was to be rescued from death by the man he had grown to blame for his downfall. So, the touch wasn't really what caused the eclipse, but Guts' approach was what drove Griffith to extreme depths of despair and triggered the ceremony. If this interpretation is right, then "I'll never again....." means "I'll never be able to forgive / accept / tolerate you" etc. This was taken from a user that answered the same question as yours on reddit...
Griffith was saying that if guts touches him, and he accepts guts help moving forward then his dream would die. He would have to accept a life as a cripple to stay guts friend, and that was the final straw. He'd rather lose everything else he gained in life, than lose his vision of himself achieving his dream.

SPOILER DOWN IF U HAVENT READ THE MANGA/MOVIES. . . . . . . . . . . . *1st one is when guts leave the hawks after defeating griffith in a duel. *2nd is when casca and guts talking about leaving, and griffith overhear them. *3rd is in the lake when griffith swear he wont ever forgive guts if he touch him then *and finally the 4th when griffith catch guts nearly breaking his fragile hand hanging to the rising tower of flesh---in which guts lets go of his arm and fall, because he dont want griffith hands to snap and torn (griffith saw it as somewhat the final act of betrayal and thus he goes 'i sacrifice' , abandoning guts-casca and all the hawks members)

Zandia Moses not only that, but your reaction to casca is almost certainly the intended one. You're supposed to be rooting for guts so much at that point that her ignorance of his history is infuriating. You want him to somehow explain to her why he is the way he is... Without ever wondering what HER deal is. Then you get the cave scene before hundomanslayer happens and you just START appreciating casca as a character. Guts starts to get her, she starts to get guts. And then the waterfall scene happens and we get the dramatic release that makes us all come away loving Casca enough that the eclipse is physically painful to read. Don't apologize for feeling the way the author intended you to feel.

Before the band of the Hawk, Guts had led his life absolutely alone. And him what he viewed as a actual family was also a path to hell.

It's kind of both. As an editor I always like to try new stuff with my work, and I felt it kind of gave this chaos and broken feel to the video.
I found it a little distracting at first, but considering of how tragic Golden Age is, looking at everything through a broken glass seems appropriate
