Because everybody doing NASCAR games specially after the good NASCAR 15, are really bad. iRacing should do the next NR2022. I don't understand how the OFFICIAL E-NASCAR game doesn't come out with a inspired NASCAR Racing game. They created the NR franchise from Papyrus...
The sad thing is that most of the problems would have been avoided if they simply left it in the oven. This is all a result of rushing a product out the door before it's ready. The decision to release this game in this state will go down as the worst decision in the history of Nascar game development. Motorsports Games KNEW the condition of this game, and still pushed it out the door. Nascar Heat Evolution was a finished product compared to this.
The reason NASCAR Heat Evolution was able to be fully functional, was because it was such a cheap render of everything they didn't have to spend much time on realism and beauty. NASCAR 21 on the other hand, they put all their eggs in the other basket.

As I've always felt, the Heat games weren't nearly as bad as some people proclaimed and this game is proof of it. Heat 4 was the best Nascar game we had since Thunder 2004 by a good margin and IMO, even the Thunder games aren't as great as people claim. The truth is, we've never had a truly exceptionally good Nascar game. There is so much untapped potential with Nascar that it's utterly shocking we're still getting such poor, half-baked games in 2021. There is one developer I know that could potentially deliver it and put it the TLC that this series deserves and that is Codemasters if they're willing to split resources and time between that and the F1 games. People have to stop having these absurdly high expectations as well. Next time a new developer takes over the Nascar license, use this as a lesson and to lessen your expectations. No way to be so disappointed that way. When you go in expecting garbage, you can't be blind-sided when hit with trash.

@@FacuGonz3 That's why I explicitly stated Heat 4 in my comment and not the previous 3 (which were essentially Dirt To Daytona remakes). That was their mistake and it took them 3 games to finally rectify it somewhat.
I'm not even about to waste my time making wishlist videos because my faith in getting a good nascar game is pretty much gone. It's one thing to have missing features and let's be honest, the game wasn't gonna be feature heavy anyway but when you got basic shit missing like a rear view mirror, not being able to check your fuel and tire wear, not having the playoffs and stages in the game which is mind blowing because that's part of the sport and just other stuff it's just downright unacceptable. This hurts motorsports games badly. IndyCar is finally getting a game but oh boy....its probably not gonna be good at all unless they seriously turn things around in a short amount of time. The game should've been pushed back to February of 2022. Completely disrespectful to release a game that's completely unplayable. And I agree this business model needs to change like ASAP.

Why are people saying seven in the comments? Don't know so explain Also 100% agree, why can't we just get a polished game? Please? For once? Most polished in a decade was Heat 4 and even that still had some pretty big flaws.
I understand that Motorsport games had a deadline to release the game, and it wasn’t ready to be released. I feel your pain I am having huge problems playing the game on the Playstation 5. There is no feedback through the PS5 Dual shock controller. You can't drive it on the PS5 there are way to many problems with the game. Yellow's don't come out for one, no stages, AI are laggy. I get DSQ if I get turned into the the wall with rules are on. The cut scenes are messed up the tap on the door that the crew chief does needs to go that sound is getting on my nerves. I mean I could go on... I was stupid enough to buy the championship's edition and I am very disappointed. They need to fix this game for a Patch #3. It needs to come within the next month. I will no longer be playing until it's fixed.
What I thought was so stupid is at short tracks the cars are running 3 and 4 wide for just about the whole race. Where the hell are you gonna go or pass at. It is so stupid.
Sad...its so simple...the last good nascar game was nascar 2003 racing season. Yes I have been ip and lan racing that long (longer actually) 2k3 had great handling and decent graphics for the time. Now in 2021 we have games that are rushed out to make money. Look at it like this, 2k3 is still raced online even though there has been alot of games released since. I swear some company could take 2k3, throw on new graphics and update the tracks and cars and they would have A hit, and yes I know thats how Iracing started. I played Iracing A bit, and it was fun but the cost for A disabled person got to much.
A 3 years in development game, like forza horizon 5 I would prefer play horizon 5 than ignition and im glad that I hold my money instead of buying ignition bcs since day 1 I knew that it was gonna flopped like I understand is a small company but goddamn, I would prefer that they release heat 6 or throwing an update on heat 5 for the 2021 or 2022 season. And it would be 100 times better
Yes i will my money back haha.its a buggy not cleared game.and yes Sound and graphics etc is cool .but we cannot er ey time a run complete ...with pit stop haha.you have right.its a 30 eu game

Whatif how similar is this game to nascar 08? That is arguably worse than heat evo imo Michael Mrcuz says they are very similar I hope not but I’m glad I canceled my preorder
This game is way worse than Heat Evolution. To me it seems like Heat 5 is the best NASCAR game we are going to get. Why don’t they just give DLC with updated roster and cars ? Charge $10 -$20 for it and be done with it. 👍👍👍✌️✌️✌️
At least in Heat Evolution you could push the pace car onto the track and cause the big one which was kinda funny: th-cam.com/video/VEE98ebX884/w-d-xo.html
I feel like I'm in the minority here, but I'm actually having a really good time with this game. From a certain standpoint, I get the comparisons to NHE, but it feels like I'm playing a different game and from my personal experience I don't get it. The first couple days of the game (I got the champions edition), I'll admit, it was basically unplayable for me. Was going to give up and be upset like everyone else. Then I came home from work on the actual release day and gave it another go, the day 1 patch was out so I figured maybe it fixed some stuff. I have rarely experienced any glitches. I'm halfway through my first career season with 25% races, and the worst I've experienced is the ai freaking out on a restart here and there and some issues with ai pit strategy. The on track racing (now that I've found medium steering assist and medium TC on controller) is the best I've ever played in a nascar game. I have not had the game crash once and my championship is shaping up quite nicely. No unplayable sessions that I've had to simulate, no wonky physics, all things I've seen others experience so I know they happen, but I have not which makes it feel like I have a different game. If they fix the ai pit strategy, add stages, flesh out the career a bit more, add private online races, and clean up the glitches for 2022, this is the best foundation I think we've ever had for a nascar game by far.
At 15:23, you say "For people that say that this is better than Heat Evolution, have simply not played the game." Well..... Real Radman says its better than Heat Evolution. He said that in his review!!!
Nascar as a whole should be embarrassed and the drivers themselves are probably like what the fuck is this bullshit how could the top brass of nascar approve this shit if this crap doesn’t get fixed there won’t be a nascar 22 nascar might terminate Motorsport gaming’s contract to ever make any kind of nascar games i think nascar should do that
No matter how bad this game is it will never be worse than heat evolution, that game was the worst game i've ever played in my life. Racing against the ai in this game is awful but racing against other people is decent, if only you could properly play against people you wanted......
NASCAR 2003 Season destroys every console game by a long shot. The only flaw it has is the ai are brain dead and have 0 awareness that you are there. Saying NASCAR 21 ignition is worse than heat evolution LOL I should’ve been smarter and not buy the game and still kept playing NR2003.
theres a full link in the description where you can log in to view the full Q3 investor call. its 48 minutes long but i'm watching it now. this is nuts.
So much wrong with the game, no mirror, no season mode, most track except short tracks the cars fly right by you no matter the AI settings. There’s spotty car handling, then there’s no custom option to what your career driver looks like. They literally half assed the entire thing, just everything right now is complete and utter garbage. My hope is the next patch is a massive update. You eluded to the track difficultly, I don’t know if that’s a reason why cars fly by like you stand still or what but I hate the fact I paid 60 bucks for this.

7... We all owe 704 games an apology.
The biggest problem with these sports games is the sports require games to be released by a specific date so these game developers are rushed to get them out so not to lose rights to the property.
I haven't bought a new nascar game since NASCAR the game 2011, it's just not worth it, they suck I'll just stick to the classics
Steam reviews
NASCAR Heat Evolution: 53% of 278 are positive
NASCAR 21: Ignition: 26% of 196 are positive
What I thought was so stupid is at short tracks the cars are running 3 and 4 wide for just about the whole race. Where the hell are you gonna go or pass at. It is so stupid.
POV u see this after the day after they say they want to introduce ultimate team
Can someone please tell me how real radman likes this game?
EA, Codemasters, and SMS should make a NASCAR game without real drivers/sponsors or with only some.
You really think NASCAR would allow that ? LOL
For me the redeeming quality is the actual droving of the car with a wheel. Its so much better physics wise but man the game itself is just ugh
This game was secretly made by LJN.
NASCAR 21 is literally the NASCAR version of NBA Elite 11, yet fully released
Gonna buy another ps2 so I can play Thunder 04 again
I think the Game is a
-15/100
Yes i will my money back haha.its a buggy not cleared game.and yes Sound and graphics etc is cool .but we cannot er ey time a run complete ...with pit stop haha.you have right.its a 30 eu game
Yeah the more I play it the more I get pissed about how shit this game is
I played it the first 2 or 3 days it was released, haven’t touched it since
I was about to pre-order the game but decided to wait for reviews needless to say glad I still have those 65 bucks
I knew this wasn't gonna be good :/ I had high hopes for this game
People that disliked the videos want to still believe that the game can be saved. Wake the fuck up!!! This game can not be saved it needs to be deleted and restarted this is the worst 2 years of development for a game engine….
Seven or something. For real though 2/10 seems generous.
Thank fuck... The old what if.. Good rant.. Like evolution days when I first watched u
Needs to be a lawsuit for how bad of a product they created
yeah im glad i saved my $60
7. Complete agree man. Appreciate this content, keep it up, although it’s hard because this game is just a pain to play.
Whatif how similar is this game to nascar 08? That is arguably worse than heat evo imo
Michael Mrcuz says they are very similar I hope not but I’m glad I canceled my preorder
This game is way worse than Heat Evolution. To me it seems like Heat 5 is the best NASCAR game we are going to get. Why don’t they just give DLC with updated roster and cars ? Charge $10 -$20 for it and be done with it.
👍👍👍✌️✌️✌️
Nah Heat evolution was hot garbage. I couldn't even drive the cars at all lol. But yes, nascar 21 is pretty bad
NASCAR 14/15 is where it’s at for me lately
heat games weren’t bad just missing a lot of content but for the most part the game was still fun. and the bugs weren’t game braking

Thelast good nascar game was nascar inside line, the last great game was thunder 04
The game is garbage, I want my money back.
At least in Heat Evolution you could push the pace car onto the track and cause the big one which was kinda funny:

I got denied a refund on Xbox. I just don’t think they can fix this game.
At 15:23, you say "For people that say that this is better than Heat Evolution, have simply not played the game."
Well..... Real Radman says its better than Heat Evolution. He said that in his review!!!
He needs to play it again and then stand by this bad take of his.
I said the same thing. Heat evolution was hot garbage and way worse. This is close though
Nascar as a whole should be embarrassed and the drivers themselves are probably like what the fuck is this bullshit how could the top brass of nascar approve this shit if this crap doesn’t get fixed there won’t be a nascar 22 nascar might terminate Motorsport gaming’s contract to ever make any kind of nascar games i think nascar should do that
Got my refund the very next day after pre order early release. This game will not be fixed.
No matter how bad this game is it will never be worse than heat evolution, that game was the worst game i've ever played in my life. Racing against the ai in this game is awful but racing against other people is decent, if only you could properly play against people you wanted......
Can’t believe people are defending this garbage ass game.
I paid 90 for the base game in Canada 🇨🇦
Glad i saved my money LOL
Same i don’t think it’s worth 20 bucks 😂
Bought it for 10 bucks... still pissed. Not worth 2 USD
Can you send me that link again? Your comment in my notification didn't open, so i couldn't check out the link.

theres a full link in the description where you can log in to view the full Q3 investor call. its 48 minutes long but i'm watching it now. this is nuts.
@@WhatiFRacing Thanks
Heat 5 was better than this!
I’ve made it to the end here’s a Seven 7
It's pathetic we havnt had a good Nascar game since 2004!
We definitely have had a good NASCAR game since 04, but not one as good as Thunder 04.
Im done with nascar games after this shit show. Nascar games are bad compared to other raceing games. This is another title going on my not to play anymore.
I am also done with nascar games. I just going to stay with iracing. I just feel like no matter what company takes over nascar game not going make a good one.
Amen. Speechless.
God damnit. My first nascar experience was ignition on pc. Because I figure the most current game is best and I was hoping for full online lobbies. So now what....heat5 yall are saying? I'm sure 21 will get patched up
Not enough to make the game any good, it's broken beyond repair
@@dragontales1999 beyond? Nah they can do a ton of additions and load embin with a massive 10gb update and be a totally siff game
