At the end of the day, people from all over India watch Bollywood films. We have seen different types of Indian people in them- Bengalis, Punjabis, Gujaratis for example. It's to see the South get represented. Of course this isn't the first Bollywood film that represented the South :-)

Now a days South Indian marriages are not happening as shown in video. They are dominated by north like mehendi, sangeet etc. I am not against but we losing our traditional feel. Anyway i am proud of India
Sangeet and other things are happening in the cities like chennai, Villages still do traditional wedding.
Even today wedding is happening the same traditional way in chettinad region. The marriage rituals are held for three days.

Nadaswaram is a music comprising of instrument similar to shehnai which is played on auspicious occasions along with mridangam which is similar to dolak.

I was about to write the same, everyone's emotions were so pure and natural doesn't matter which society you belong in subcontinent every parent and elders felt the same. Not a Tamilian but I really love the Tamil culture. I've always been fascinated by the South Indian culture and people and I've even learnt some South Indian songs like Uyire, Unnatundi gundey, Unnai Kaanadu Naan and some from Vijay Deverakonda's films and Oru Adaar Love. I'd say this film’s depicted the typical South Indian culture realistically and with utmost simplicity. It's shown the story of long-distance marriage and what it takes to make the relationship of the two married couple flourishing as the distance between them lengthens. This is love❤

Jab bhi man hota h jati hu...I wear saree whenever i go to temple.. Tilak on forhead...love tamil homes.. I really love your culture. Tamilians rooted to your culture. Everything is connected to nature and simple. Please anyone from tamil nadu who knows traditions and values thoroughly. Please tell me more about it. I love tamil nadu and settle there. Hi. Haha. First of all thanks for your appreciation of another culture. We Tamils too find Rajasthan fascinating especially the palaces and lakes. But don't confuse movie and reality.
Whatever the film shows, we do it but not in such a photogenic manner. We're quite noisy people and definitely grounded, like very grounded. After traveling throughout India, Tamils are still bit behind when it comes to dressing sense (not in negative sense, but we love oily hairs, loose pants) only after college our dressing trends change, younger generation rarely wears traditional clothes except during any major family event.
Also, banana leaf is used only during certain occasions. Settling down as a Rajasthani in TN won't be difficult. There're many Rajasthanis here. You can differentiate based on skin tone. We're quite dark and bit rough (not like shown in this movie), so easy to differentiate others. Also language part might be difficult.
If you really like to get more details, marry a Rajasthani guy settled in TN. You'll become pseudo Tamil. You can experience both cultures without having any major impact or disappointment. 😅
I know many people might think your question as silly, but admiration of other cultures happen to many people and we would like to experience them from within.
