Pro tip on the housing vault shared storage it is a lot cheaper to pass resources back and forth between your characters than it is to mail them if you ever notice that if you start mailing let's say you have a crafting alt that is a jewelcrafter and you start mailing gems and other items that are used in crafting it's very expensive so it's free to just put them in the vault and then log out and log in onto your crafter and pick them up
The quality of the questing experience will go down a lot when you reach Mordor/Minas Morgul/Gundabad expansion.. Like popup quests everywhere, and repeatable click and fetch quests. Housing and cosmetics is what this game is all about, and yeah the early zones are really good too.
If you are on the Arkenstone server and need access to crafting spots, Shire Homesteads, Heathwall neighborhood, 4 Myrtle Court, some kin has setup all the crafting spots, vendor and bank NPCs and you will be able to craft all you want. There are even some personal houses available in that neighborhood if you like Hobbit housing. Glad you enjoy the game! :)
