- Power Rangers SPD Reunion would go HARD!
Toei announced the 20th anniversary special for Super Sentai Dekaranger. They got two reunions (in addition to cameos) already! It's time Hasbro does the same. They should do a Once and Always special with other past Power Rangers post Mighty Morphin. In this case, let's borrow that new Deka Red suit for a Power Rangers SPD Reunion alongside whatever reboot they are doing!

I can't believe the time setting for SPD is almost upon us. It's amazing.
Yet we don't have cool japanese mechs to fight crime.
S.P.D. was my childhood, so I would do literally anything to see them take the spotlight again. Kelson Henderson, who plays Boom, has had a lot of recurring roles as comic-relief characters in the franchise since then.
I love boom as Mike kanic in the cosmic fury part than whatever happened in ninja steel
SPD was one of my favorite Power Ranger series. Jack comes back to investigate the death or disappearance of Kruger. He gets to dawn Red Ranger, Shadow Ranger, or a Fusion of both Red Shadow Ranger. I would be all in for that.

I would definitely watch it. I just checked on what the actors have been up to and I didn't realize how many of them have had OK acting careers.

Having an SPD reunion would be fantastic, and if I'm being honest, I'd love to see a Lightspeed Rescue reunion as well. SPD and Lightspeed are my top two favorite PR seasons.
However, with respect to your research, we DID get to see Bridge again in the Operation Overdrive series 2-parter "Once A Ranger" as SPD Red. Based on that, Sky Tate was promoted to Earth Staton Commander after Supreme Commander Fowler Birdie retired and Commander Cruger was promoted to SPD Central Command.
The two things I'd love is a SPD reunion and a Dino Thunder reunion. Especially since we just got a abaranger 20 years after and soon a dekaranger 20 years
Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem like the majority of the Dino Thunder cast are interested in returning.

I'd be excited if they do an Anniversary Film for SPD. Even though Sky became a Red Ranger for a short time, he can shine on leading as the Red Ranger and Bridge can become Blue

I also liked how they always captured and didnt really kill their enemies. Theyre probably the only rangers that ever did that. Like these guys are criminals not monsters.

I want SPD to have a reunion movie. It would be so cool to see them together again. I mean, on the Super Sentai version, there were Krybots fighting in the scenes. That's gotta mean Gruumm will escape from his confinement card.

It's a few things, honestly. It's not just the fandom, it's also the companies pushing MMPR really heavily because they're focusing on nostalgia. The other issue is that a lot of PR actors have moved on to other things, sometimes even other careers, and may not want to come back. I would love to see parts of the franchise outside of MMPR get more recognition

Now that im an adult, I can't tell you how excited I got when I was watching The Rookie Season 4/5 and saw none other than Jack Landers actor Brandon Jay McLaren playing one of the villans/antagonists in that show! So glad to see him still in the acting world
To date, Kelson Henderson is one of the most recurring non-MMPR actors in the franchise. Among other roles, he was Phineas the forest troll in Mystic Force, Norg the yeti in Operation Overdrive, Mick Kanic in Ninja Steel and Cruise the Cheetah Beast Bot in Beast Morphers. Mick also returned in Dino Fury and Cosmic Fury.

@@bradhuckstep1058 season 3 of Dino Fury was called Cosmic Fury because it mostly takes place in space, using footage from Kyuranger for the monsters and Megazord fights. Mick Kanic from Ninja Steel returns a few times to help the Rangers fight off Lord Zedd and his new allies.
I haven't watched Power Rangers SPD, nor Lost Galaxy and others after Power Rangers in Space (I think I finished it, I'm not sure) but I will happily watch special episodes on Netflix. Now I'm focusing on Space Fury, I'm slowly watching it, the series is great

It would be nice for a Once and Always reunion special for most or all of them. My question would be who would fill in for rangers who hold 2 different suits, for example Kat holds the pink Mighty Morphin and Zeo and Turbo, or Cassie who holds the Turbo and Space suits
Well I think because Kat showed up in the Mighty Morphin reunion we can rule her out for Zeo and honestly, unless Justin is a must see, they could technically skip Turbo and have Cassie appear in In Space since it's really the same cast, but without Justin. If they threw Justin in for In Space with his Turbo suit then technically it would be a combined Turbo and In Space reunion.
I’d rather a second season of SPD then just a stand alone film.

Even SPD's original counterpart, Dekaranger, did have a reunion movie nine years ago.
They had at least 3 Movie, 10 year after Movie in 2015, Gavan vs Dekaranger in 2017, also Dekaranger 20 year after in 2024

That would be awesome but how would you do that if jdf and so on are no longer with us anymore
Though I would love the reunion, but they'll have to figure out their ranger line-up. Since in the PW Operation Overdrive crossover episode it was mentioned that Sky is now the base commander of SPD most likely becoming the 'Shadow Ranger' and Bridge is now the new Red Ranger, so Jack's appearance on the team would be hard to fit. However, I do have some theories
1.Unless they use the same plot from the dino thunder crossover which involves time-travel, where the rangers have lost and requires Sam/Nova to travel either in the past/future to find Jack to get his help.
2.Another theory I can speculate is revolving around 'Sky' and him travelling to the past. In the future the rangers would be defeated losing the ability to morph and the Command Centre being destroyed, with all hope being lost Cruger gives Sky his father's Time Force morpher becoming the Red Time Force Ranger. Having access to his father's old zord gave him the chance to travel back and assemble the old team again to prevent the disaster. We can get fan service seeing future Sky as the Red Time Force Ranger and past Sky as the Blue SPD Ranger.

I would love to see Once and Always specials for like Zeo (With Billy taking Tommy's mantle of Zeo Ranger V Red) Jungle Fury and Dino Charge. But unfortunately Hasbro could not make those ideas possible.☹️

How I see the 10th anniversary special is Emperor Grumm uses a new form to disguise SPD and the a squad rangers and brooding return.

They need a new B Squad team 💯💯
They need to do a Power Rangers Zeo bc that's the only season where their powers weren't destroyed along with Alien Power Rangers where they all get a golden Shield and a mini version of the Gold Rangers Shield. And they have to go against the Machine Kings oldest son and his wife Archerina bc they left before they dad got blown up. Remember. And they still got their Shogun Megazord. One of the best words ever.
Even with the reboot it allways can tie back into the other shows . I just think Hasbro just wants to set up another dimensions for several seasons with worrying connected to the other shows right away then later down the line do a special again with the multiverse

I don't know if SPD reunion would work. Considering we have caught up with the SPD timeline they might need to have it in the further future. Bridge was supposedly promoted to Red Ranger as shown in Operation Overdrive so what will Jack's role be? A new temporary ranger? We will also probably have new Blue and Green. Or Z could be promoted to Blue and have a new Green and Yellow.
Or what if we see the spd fire squad they rejected like we already know about the deka ranger being sky well what if see the prime ranger

Power Rangers have a lot of potential to create their own creative stuff, the existence of Titanium Ranger and the Battlizers implies that they can make new things but chose to stick to MMPR for some reason, that's what made them feel passionless for me.
I want a reunion for two series in specific, but Ik that it will never happen. I want A Dino Thunder reunion and/or a Ninja Storm reunion. I’m sad now. First and still my favorite Power Ranger series.

They made Bridge Red in the Operation Overdrive, I'd keep it that way. I'd hate to see him demoted over nothing. He's on the autistic spectrum, it would be interesting to see how he leads in his natural environment.
Besides, there are members they won't call due to how they made money after leaving the show.
It opens up new possibilities for a new Green and another colour, as who was promoted to Blue and who took their colour?
They can start with a smaller team, just Bridge (Red) Syd (Blue), then introduce a new Pink, Yellow and, finally Green. With Sky becoming commander and Shadow Ranger.
With access to Billy's zord remote technology (the mini falconzord), the team of two can form the zords and have done this for a year now.
With a new threat emerging, they need to fill Pink, Yellow and Green.
The Academy only has two prospects, two female cadets, who end up taking Pink and Yellow. Green is left unused for now with his zords on remote, the two new Rangers are sent to Silverback for special training while Red and Blue handle the rising crime rates.
During one investigation, the duo are captured. After some time has passed, they hear a flute, the sound coming closer and closer.
Then they see MMPR Green taking out the foot soldiers, with his shield deflecting the blasts as he walks, then fighting them hand to hand.
Bridge asks, "Tommy?" But The Ranger leaves quickly after freeing the duo.
In an ally, the Green motphed state disappears with the user saying, "The coin's powers are depleating." Before entering a crowd of people. We dont get to see the person, just that they are wearing the SPD academy uniform.
The Pink and Yellow return after failing a few times, with Sky saying he has picked a new Green and they are with Silverback training, reports say he's doing well. (This suggests he knows who MMPR Green is and picked them)
During the final battle, Green turns up morphed to SPD Green only. When a more powerful monster turns up, Green holds out until he can't anymore and produces the MMPR morpher and Dragon Coin using it to gain the shield and Dragon Dagger.
Syd is not happy about the revelation and demands who they are, wanting to use Fist of Iron to get the answer.
The Green fully demorphs and says, "Call me J.J."
"J.J. who?" Askes Bridge?
"J.J. Oliver and the being responsible for this rising crime rate also destroyed my father ten years ago."
This allows Kat to tell the story of how Tommy was destroyed. Which would lead to a Grid Wars crossover event that would introduce a new team.

I would love to see a reunion for spd it is mentioned in an operation overdrive episode bridge appears as the new red ranger for spd and says that sky got promoted too kruger position and said that Kruger also got promoted which is why he is now the red ranger to me that would already give you a story to start with for a possibly reunion special

I think Jack shouldn't come back. He wanted his own life. Sky has a new ranger suit in the comics, and Bridge is the new red ranger. I think this could be a cool way to introduce Tommy's son who uses the SPD powers and the Dragon shield.

If you are going to do a reunion other than mighty morphin power rangers you have to do a reunion of power rangers lost galaxy. Lost galaxy is probably the most and best dark power rangers series we will ever get. Plus power rangers lost galaxy would be a much better reunion special

Super Sentai forever Power rangers so so since their BG stories are OK but not entirely enough to make it thrilling as explain who what when where why and sometimes how to defeat and defend the earth from evil at least than just copying stories to their own business than understanding it true perspectives and honor of their lifestyles over Japan who's supporting every kids to adult age to learning to live and fight and overcome and take every challenges to not be burdens to others even to yourself too

I fully agree with you. We need more power Rangers reunion events! This looks totally fantastic! I think the plot needs a little bit of fine-tuning but I still love it! Personally I would love to see something like in space first before we get as far as SPD, but yes I would truly love to see another reunion event! I really do hope Hasbro will consider this!
If the other power rangers series have a reunion would that mean more of there old morphers because I want to buy them again and there weapons and costumes and uniforms

in my opinion I think that it would be a great idea and they could also make it for almost every power rangers show if they want to but we all know that they are not doing it any time soon which means that all of this is just a dream and we are not getting anything sadly 😢

honestly id love to see a reunion special for any of the disney era shows. tho i will say wild force would be the one i personally want the most. yea yea theres the whole shit with coles actor and jail but i still think they could figure something out. maybe have zen aku show up with meric since we saw them both walk off on a journey together at the end of wild force.
