It's still hard to believe but I know that she's in a better place now. She touched so many lives to the point where it will be hard not to miss her. May she rest in peace.
The most enigmatic of the original Show creators - Robert D. Cardona is still alive at the age of 94. It's sad to think we've barely heard from him at all when it comes to his pivotal role in creating the show and he might not be with us much longer.
It's devastating to hear about this news. She helped bring the Railway Series to life and on the television. Without her, Wilbert Awdry's book would probably remain in the books only. I'm thankful that her efforts helped bring the Island of Sodor to life and be part of our childhoods. May Britt rest in peace.
It didn’t hit me until I watched Unlucky Tug’s video this afternoon, and I cried a lot. Britt did so much for Thomas and brought so many new fans to the series. She was special, and she will be missed.
R.I.P. Britt. Thank you for bringing something that has been a good part of my childhood. And especially for bringing something that both children and adults could enjoy.
She made it possible for a lot of us to have a great childhood. I loved watching thomas as a kid with my grandad laughing at thomas and the others. R.I.P Britt thank you for the memories you helped create
R.I.P Britt and thank you for making the railway series into a tv show which helped me become a railway enthusiast and a collector of any thing Thomas and friends or railway related.
Thank you man for such a great video to be honest when I started getting into Thomas again back in 2013 I started looking up the episodes to watch and I found a lot of your remakes and your content and it made me so happy to be a part of this fandom and none of that would have been possible without what Britt Alcroft created I thank her for creating a show that we can all enjoy and interact with each other. Godspeed Britt Alcroft
This incredible woman shaped my and many others childhoods, and I don't know where I would be today if it weren't for her. Rest in Peace, Britt Allcroft. Thank you for everything. 🙏❤️
God Bless You, Britt Allcroft! Thank you for not just bringing Thomas the Tank Engine & Friends on TV and to the United States of America with Shining Time Station, but for giving us all a special impact on our lives that we will always cherish in our hearts forever. 😢🚂🚃🚃🛤❤✨
I Never grew up with the classic era of Thomas Tv show but britt allcroft was critical in the creation of the Thomas and friends TV show so rest in peace britt allcroft you will be missed 😢
R.I.P. Britt Allcroft. The one behind the scenes of Thomas & Friends and the voice of Lady in Thomas & The Magic Railroad. We’ll never forget how you brought Thomas & Friends into our lives. Thank You
While I never got to meet her I can't help but cry. The TV show was a big part of my childhood and cheered me up when I was down it also lead to my love of railways and my continued enjoyment for Thomas and Friends. Even though she is gone we all are still united together as a fandom. If I had ever gotten the chance to meet her I'd thank her for creating something so special to me and everyone else. Rest peacefully Britt.😢 1943-2024
I’m a huge Beatles fan and technically Thomas was my first introduction to The Beatles. As well with most of us Thomas got me interested in steam trains. Thanks Britt for the childhood magic ✨
It was the most shocking news from the beginning of 2025. It literally came out of nowhere. All thanks to Britt Allcroft for creating the show adaptation of the Railway series books.
I was so sad yesterday when I heard the news. I will miss Britt Allcroft so much. At least she’s in a better place with David Mitton, and Carlin & Angelis. RIP our queen.🕊️
Without her and her show, I would've never gained the passion I have for trains (same goes for Tom McComas, the founder of TM Books; who coincidentally died the same year as Britt did).
When I found out yesterday that she passed away, I was pretty sad, my mum didn't really know who I was talking about, but when I showed her an article, she was heartbroken! It wasn't just thomas she created, she also brought the magical adventures of mumfie, & captain pugwash (I remember seeing her logo in a credits scene) RiP Britt!
Honestly, this is the first video I've seen even after learning about her passing before, and I believe it's been done, wonderfully. I enjoyed listening your remark and statements, and it's stuff like this that I really can appreciate; especially the smaller things in life that I don't normally think about on a deeper level. So thank you T1E2H3, for this lovely tribute, and may we never forget such a beloved creator. May Britt Allcroft rest forever more in ballroom bliss. I know I said it, but I just wanna say it again, I really enjoyed watching, or rather listening, about your thoughts and recollections of Britt Allcroft, it really does help me see the best in her for what she had gifted to us all, a cheeky little blue tank engine with six small wheels, a short stumpy funnel, a short stumpy boiler, and a stumpy done. All because she cherished to bring to life the books of a train enthusiastic reverend and his son. P.S. I hope to here what you think, and forgive me it this sounds long.
Rest in peace, Britt. Thomas and Friends would never have been the success it was without you. Thank you so much for bringing our favourite cheeky tank engine to life.
Found out about it two days ago, still in shock she passed away (and on Christmas too). Despite this, in glad she left an impact on you and your content, and will always appreciate her making such a wonderful show and bringing it to a wider audience.
Maybe the second theatrical live-action animated Thomas & Friends film is in development at Mattel Films, a division of Mattel, the current owner of HiT Entertainment, with Marc Forster serving as director should dedicated her memory.
I hope the whole thing results in something like Sonic, a live action (with animation) adaptation of Thomas we’ve wanted for years and one that’s not bad like a lot of stuff in the series has been lately!
@@relampagomatheus9540 To translate what you’re trying to say: I hope Mattel feels remorseful when reacting to Britt Allcroft’s death and hates themselves for making what they brought to Thomas including All Engines Go!

2024 was a hard year for me because the two people who influenced my love of trains died that year. Tom McComas, the creator of the "I Love Toy Trains" series, died in last August and then Britt Allcroft is passed away before the New Year. Without them and their creations I wouldn't be as enthusiastic about trains and railroads as I am today.
@Thomas1Edward2Henry3 agreed i feel the same way for movies like who killed Captain Alex. Technically, it's not great, but you can tell the guys making it had a lot of fun. Ngl, I think we should be giving those guys proper budgets but still let them have creative rains of the story but they get a like a proper film budget.

Losing Britt was a tragedy. To live long and then pass on quietly until certain eyes or ears see or hear the news. I know I may not have cried, but I know my inner child did along with Thomas and Friends.
I do t think I have ever cried over a celebrity’s death before. May her soul rest in eternal peace 😢
I've cried over Paul Walker multiple times
Rest in peace, Britt Allcroft. We’ll never forget you.
She was a wonderful woman and I appreciate what she's done for us all. 🙏💗
Thank you for giving us a magical TV show, Britt Allcroft. Without you, Thomas wouldn't be as popular as it is today.
ah yeah.....about that. Bananas in pyjamas is always my childhood show.
That one shot of Thomas, Percy and Duck from the episode "All at Sea" has never hit harder. Rest in peace, Britt.
Agreed
It also hit hard after Michael Angelis.
And you're not the only one obviously. God rest her soul. You'll never be forgotten Britt.
Rip Britt Long Live The Allcroft
Britt Allcroft will always be an important person who affected our childhoods in a magical way.
She created one of the most important shows in may life. May she rest in peace. Lost, but never forgotten.
Indeed!

Never would’ve thought of saying something like that at all!
Absolutely! I don’t think TATMR even crosses into the bad threshold. I can tell when a movie was made with passion and TATMR certainly was!
