I am surely going to try this out. I've been wanting to weave or crochet all my life but just dont have the skills. You make this looked so easy. Thank you for this video.
Go Sharon go!!! (Asked my mom decades ago to teach me how to knit..she now wants me to teach her some techniques from the over 100 patterns I know how to do..LOL! Taught myself a little crochet. Even tried tatting, but that did not end well. I threw the shuttle >.< lol! Happy crafting to you and your daughter!)
This video reminds me when I was 10 I learned this from my aunt. But she only teach me how to start but didn’t teach me how to stop. So I never really make a scarf by myself😂😂😂😂
Excellent tutorial..... I do sometimes really get more when it’s a simple direct visual as opposed to chitchat.... some contradict themselves between what they are doing and what they are saying. Thank you!
I appreciate how easy this video is to follow and it’s also finally given me a better color scheme for my gallery wall!! Thanks! 😁 These colors are beautiful together.
If you start the weaving at the edge and work across the entire piece you get a much better piece without uneven strands at the top. to finish off the bottom you to square knots 2 strands at a time or 4 depending on how big you want the knots.
Me encantó, para las azas de laa mochilas, mil gracias por trasmitir sus conocimientos. Saludos desde Cartagena Colombia. 🖐️🖐️🖐️🖐️💓💓🇨🇴👍👍👍 No se de que país sea este video.

I learned this stuff in Grade School. Guys had to take home economics, sewing, cooking, stuff your doing. Girls had to take wood shop, metal shop. It came in handy when I was in the Navy, Boatswain's Mate. Made nice Lanyards for the Whistle's. Don't know if taught any more in school. Was in mid 70s.
Wow thats so cool that they had you do the opposite of what traditional gender roles would dictate. I graduated HS in 2008 and I definitely never heard of anything like that. We had the option to take all those classes as "electives" but since there were no requirements, the girls mainly took home ec and the boys would take shop classes. I was always too intimidated to take wood shop or auto shop even though I would have liked to.
This was in Southern Indiana. We also had Paddling. If you got in trouble. Had to bend over, grab your ankles, and paddle board was 3 feet long. Also, had a math teacher, if you made a joke in his class, would take you out into Hall and slam you against lockers. Was all about education back then, no messing around. My grandkid is a high school freshman. Doesn't have to take Gym. So Sad.
I am from India we did same we Lauren to knit kroshia all these things in our school holidays. Now I am making baby shall see for my grand children. We were kept so busy no time for boyfriend those were safe and happy days.

😱😱😱💖😍😍😍😍 Me encanta !!! 👍✨ Muchas gracias . Voy por el Palo 😁 primero 😷
Thank you for your video. Using different colors for each strand made it much easier for a newbie like me to follow what you were doing.
thankyou, i think the same. using contrasting colours helps a lot!
How many of you are disappointed because they haven't shown how to end this??🧐
How many of you wanted to see the finished product? I was like whaaaaa that's it .

Wow finally a video that actually shows you how it’s done. Not sure how it looked in the end but I love this technique
My grandmother was into this in the 70's. She incorporates beads within them. She made planters&everything anyone could dreamed of out of them.
This yarn looks so soft and fluffy, I just want to hug it.

I have a question, how do you end it and take it off the wood
No u leave the wood on and tie a piece of string/rope from one side to the other using a constrictor knot - and hang it using the string/rope.
You don't take it off the wood. It's meant to be hung along with the wood
@@namithap3665 😮 1:02
And how do you end it?
I don't care what this is, its satisfying
🙂😊 Yes...
But, how do you finish it off?
Lovely colours and yarn
That’s what I would like to know also!
I'd tie knots using 2 strands, (so you now have 9 "tassels", the same number of pairs you start with) then comb out the ends for fringe. :)
