Hey i did infact get banned from win exp 2 years ago trying to get true stretched and have been ever since staying away from it but im not sure if anyone else can get banned from it, just be careful
you don't need that. Just disable the monitor devices on Device Manager and create a custom resolution in NVIDIA Control Panel or whatever AMD is using
Riot would rather have creators playing a pretty looking game than one that’s stretched. New players / kids who don’t know about stretched will look at it weird.
well technically you can still play on 1440x1080 by doing the same stuff and setting your res to 1568x1080 and then once you're in the match and it's stretched change it again to 1440x1080 i've tried it and it worked for me
now how does this work for 1440p monitors i try it but every time i go into fullscreen it doesnt allow me to change the option from letterbox to fill so im stuck at letterbox and i dont get the true stretch res asking because i had a buddy try and help me out but even then the resolutions i used for 1080p monitors havent worked at all for me
I mean Riot just needs to add it properly, plenty of people and pros are using stretched already so like why make it annoying? People have been doing it forever too, so it's not like they're maintaining some sort of equalness or something...
that's intended, and is one of the reasons why this is the best method for it. all the others require you to constantly go through the method again every time you launch the game. With the misticJK method, your monitors are permanently disabled until you reenable them, so everytime you launch valorant it will take your desktop resolution and use that as your default in-game resolution
I have a question because I was trying to record my gameplay using the third method but because we disabled the monitor obs didn't detect a monitor and couldn't record so if u have a solution that would be amazing.
For those of you who are unable to use the Mistic method due to black bars, lower refresh rates, or some other issue try this: 1. Open the NVIDIA Control Panel. 2. Navigate to "Adjust desktop size and position." 3. Under "Scaling," select "Full-Screen." 4. Set "Perform scaling on" to "GPU." 5. Ensure the box under "Override the scaling mode set by games and programs" is unchecked. 6. Set your resolution to 1568x1080. 7. Verify that you have the correct refresh rate. 8. Click "Apply." This should optimize your display settings for true stretched.
