@@DarylHeibultwith crate's is more of the drivers ability not the horsepower because everyone is out there with the same size engine and drivetrain but crate racing is driver and crew chief ability mod is more about what is under the hood and getting it all down on the narrow tire

Actually I think the Crate LM may be a better path for Chases career. Since in the southeast LM racing is dominant, lots of big paying Crate LM closer to your home base. Plus you now have the backing to do well. It could lead to running super LM with proper backing.
Chase’s driving style is more suited to the LM. Might want to put the Modified on the shelf and concentrate on the LM. Just my opinion. I’m sure I’m not the only one who thinks like that .

The whole team hates crate racing! We’ve openly said it before multiple times! We told Jason Neises we hated crate racing before he ever bought the car!…but we like winning and we told him up front we would give it our best shot!

To run SLM, it will take a big financial investment on someone's part. 50K + for a good engine plus another 50k+ for chassis and shock packages
Gotta crawl before you can walk gotta walk before you can run give him time let him get comfortable in the crate car first.
