Do you guys prefer videos like this on mountain roads or center of the city is better? This is the road from Initial D anime. I do not know how they are supposed to drive so fast on this street, my car barely fits on one lane, but I guess 90s cars were much smaller. R35 GT-R is most of the time too big for Japanese streets.
I really like your vids in general. No matter which location it is it always takes viewers somewhere new and creates many new experiences, so keep going and do what you're doing!
Awesome! I don't follow Initial D. I should really watch it. I've been on the roads up in Nikko, where apparently there are some iconic Initial D roads, but not around this area yet. Looks like a nice drive! Thanks for being nice and stopping for the pedestrians at the crosswalk! That engine sounds so awesome!
You have good attention to detail. Yea they are nice watches. Good price/quality and they look different than all the others while they are not very big and screaming for attention.
@wes-k4 before this one i had a 2009 GT-R that I went FBO (full bolt on), it was straight pipe, zero cats kist a resonator on the back. Downpipe were changed also. The problem is that whenever I was driving it I was smelling like smoke. I did put 150,000 km on it put of which 100,000 were FBO. Now I have 2 small kids so I do not want to smoke them up. Also changing the downpipes on the GT-R is a huge pain and there is a big chance you brake the studs on the turbos which mean you have to drop the engine to fix. Not worth the hustle at this moment for me.
this was taken just last Sunday. Normally this should be the golden season but recently it is hot outside until November. Yesterday it was 28c.. it is more like we have only Summer and Winter .. autumn and spring last about 2 weeks each instead of 3 months each.
Not hiding the speed meter except for scene 9:18 may demonstrate your respect to compliance while quite a few Japanese VTubers posting driving videos hide that going crazy with annoying / cheap exhaust sound expecting the videos to go viral, I'd say. I really dislike those videos. The way you drive is relatively calm. Take care and enjoy driving.
I am trying to stay within the speed limit but, the limits are so low it's hard to stay exactly within it all the time if ou just flow with the surrounding traffic. I am obviously not racing or driving dangerously in the videos, just keeping up with the traffic most of the time. The car at 9:00 was going under 30kmh, and it was driving like he was drunk or something, staying on the middle lane, even going straight after going on the lane that was supposed to go right, so I decide to overtake when the continuous line ended. I do not intend to drive fast in this videos I do it mostly to show people how driving in Japan is and how nice the scenery is..
I really love how the Japanese government protects car enthusiasts they know their the king when it comes to it here in the uk the modifications you can do to a car is so limited I definitely do need to go one day because us car enthusiasts in the us and uk are a dying breed I think Japan is our only hope
I am not sure the government is actively protecting, but there are very relaxed about it. You have to take a technical inspection every 2 years and return car to stock for that but other than that you can be straight piped and police won't stop you.
It's very hard to get nismo parts as Nissan won't sell them to people that do not have a Nismo. And if you do, you have to show them that the Nismo part you want to replace is damaged. When it comes to aftermarket parts they all have poor fitment.
Well, the purpose of this channel is to show Japan to people and how it is to actually drive here. I do not want to encourage anyone to drive fast or go viral for breaking the law. It's intended to be more of an ASMR channel.
Sorry, I can't post videos incriminating myself. Police here goes after people doing that. Saying it's Mexico does not work here so, so i won't break the law on video.
@@japanomadmedia here in California we got of nutty people.. I don't even go to car meets anymore with my 2020 brz ts 😪 they all ruined it for us car people
@thatonebeone here car meets are still ok but police come and kick us out often so I recently do not really go. In Japan the speed limits are much lower than most countries. Highway is between 40 and 60mph, and in the city it's between 25 and 35 mph. Mountain roads are usually 30mph, while back in my home country city is 30mph, any road outside the city is 60 mph (including mountain roads) and highway is 65mph. In Japan when I am in the city, if I drive the gtr within the speed limit and I used manual transmission, it wouldn't even let me upshift in 4th most of the time because the RPM would be too low.
@@japanomadmedia you guys have nice place and people are nice and respect the rules a lot.. here in california its not so fun for us car people because too much of them ruin it for us..i haven't gone to a car meet since 2015, i went to car meets a lot 2012 to 2014 when i had my other GT86

Nice trip!
Thanks

what exhaust
Greedy Y pipe. The cat back is the stock titanium one.

Thank you. It's Insta360 ace pro.
First 15 seconds 🤌🏻🤌🏻🤌🏻
Glad you like it
I like your back view camera where I can get this
It's just some random stuff off Amazon called Jado Smart.

is this a stock spec or you have added an exhaust to it?
The mid pipe is aftermarket GReddy. Downpipes are stock and catback is the OEM titanium one that comes on all 2017+ premium edition.

Nissan GTR 35 skyline must be modified 😅
I had a FBO one before a d drove it for 150,000km. I can't bother dealing with tuners and all the small issues that come up.
The blurred speedometer 😏 nice video tho! Haha
Thanks. There's legal reasons behind that,.
