Just picked up GTA V today and was so shocked to hear this song on the radio, it's pretty cool hearing a band from your hometown get one of their songs on such a popular game. Going to see Ceremony on the 29th too!
First song I played after I found out my dog didn't have cancer, wanted to bump some hype music in the car and my brain defaulted to this album. Just realized that later on today. Thanks for the music guys

Joel Meyers: First, Patrick’s a freakin’ charmer, AD, second, it’s PE4, not C4! Anthony Davis: Whatever, at least Patrick’s honest ‘bout his habits, Joel! So once the vault door just blows, Patrick just wants Niko and Michael to go down into the vault to get the money while Patrick and Derrick handle the crowd control! Kid Danger: All makes sense to Niko so if these Irish men can just stop arguin’ for a few minutes for you Pels then he’d just think they might just be m’kay! Joel Meyers: This is it, guys, moment of truth! Joel Meyers: He loved Patrick, AD, he was happy he spoke to him and didn't matter what he was sayin’! Anthony Davis: Yeah, well, now he’s just gonna explain to his folks that their son’s lyin’ dead on the floor of a bank in Algonquin! Joel Meyers: We'll give ‘em his cut, bro, but when his man’s livin’ the life, he’s just gonna expect somebody to come through the door and break that sorta news! Kid Danger: That don’t make it any easier to hear and these men aren't safe yet! Anthony Davis: Eye on the road, KD, they don't want Niko to have to break no bad news to their ma! Kid Danger: Neither does he!
I don't understand why people would think this band has gone in the wrong direction. Ceremony rules. Punk is about what you have to say, and I'm confident Ross is going to have a lot to say on this album. My personal opinion of the music: this is fucking fresh and I like it. Inb4 anything.
I think it's good, and I've been a Ceremony fan for years. Sounds like 80's brit punk to me. These knuckledragger hardcore kids just can't hang with progression I guess.

Like most I too got put on to this song by vinewood radio in gtaV back in 2019 which is crazy for I wouldn't end up listening to thier project Zoo till way later and I just found its been 10 years since they released "Zoo" which it was pretty decent
I sometimes listen to this song 4 or 5 times in a row, it resonates with me. I've watched this band change again and again, its not really for you to decide what they should be doing. As they age, it seems like their distaste for everything gets stronger.
I like it, it sounds a bit like 80's brit with a little mix of some 90's sounds. Sorta feels like a more hardcore Greenday song (circa Dookie, their new shit is terrible.) Really digging it.
Yea I guess you're right. It's a bit of a stretch to straight up label them as powerviolence, but you could hear a powerviolence influence on albums such as Violence Violence, no? Point being, you hear a lot of bands doing Infest (whether or not Ceremony was, is arguable, clearly) and I welcome the change of pace some bands are putting forward.

Ceremony, they were making good music then, and their making good music now. If you don't like their stuff great that's your opinion, but don't go sayin shit like that here bro.

Have any of you ever written music. Writing song from violence take skill and creativity which can only go so far. I've been writing music for 5 years and making an album like violence violence seems incredibly difficult , and trying to repeat that sounds impossible. I think it's pretty good. They are just trying out new sounds and they seem to be heading for an old school hardcore sound. It's weird to hear the vocals so clearly and it's strange to think with this song this band named Violence Violence but it's not horrible at all.
