Imagine having to wake up because of the "Heros" trying to save the village because you coughed ●n●
Anyone else think that listener wasn’t actually under his control but after their first attempt to escape didn’t work they were impressed and decided to hear what he had to say. After hearing what he had to say they sympathized with the cruelty he suffered by humans and saw his hatred for them (humans) and just decided to play along because a human life span is nothing but a blink to a dragon, not to mention it would be nice to not have those little pest alway disturbing our sleep to try to kill us.

Bruh after thd 100 years of bs from humans we are now forced to be ones pet? No, no Id be biding my time playing along like the prince had 'tamed' me and when the time was right and his attention faltered in combat I'd strike the killing blow. Do not trust me. If I have to choose my freedom or self righteous servitude to a bastard prince. I'm choosing me. How many kings have we watched rise and fall over and over at this point.
Ok, one... don't call me a pet and two just make a contract with me that has equal exchange on both sides. Make that happen we both get what we want.
