I prefer the hand method as well since I am doing my own nails and learning during this whole pandemic thing, I like to learn in the same method that my nail tech would use.
The boho rainbow look is adorable! It’s not something I knew I’d like until I saw it :) I think completing the base on all nails first is what I like more because it’s close to what I’d do in my own nails
I'm always amazed by the amount of stuff Talia has; nail polishes almost identical in colour. Lots of items rarely ever used. I so hope 95% is received in PR.
@@TaliasNailStudio so you aren't a nail technician? I thought that was your job - apologies! You're a purchaser of lots of nail stuff and receives some in PR to showcase products. That's great - a much better more fun job.💛 Do any products go off/expire? You have so many and can't possibly use them regularly (I bet you have trusted favourites? ! 😊) - have you ever done a "clear out" video? That'd be interesting although if you're a brand ambassador would probably be a "no no"? Or do you gift them to friends/family?
I love coral and grey. My fav color combination. I love the leaf nail the best personally. And I like watching all the base first for the set followed by nail art. Seemed to flow better.
Always love and appreciate any video you share with us, love the coral and grey set the best... and using the had looks more 'natural' but tips work too. Oh and I love those new plate holder!! Adding them to my wish list! Thank you once again for the video and tutorial! Hugs 💜💅
I didn't realize that I don't prefer the tip style videos till you mention the difference! Going by the salon process make so much sense to me and that is why I really like about WMWs and the tutorials that you do🤩 I"m struggling with tying-all-together as you say in terms of color pallet within the ten nails. I've been trying to go with a pattern or rule as you always suggest like matching pinky and the thumb and all that but still some regrets and could have been betters when it comes to the whole designs. Again, thanks for sharing your thoughts and processes, would love to learn and be inspired by you 💖
I have to say I like the hand model best. I think the design looks more cohesive when you do it that way. Also, when you used the other green shades your nail color looked more Tiffany green/blue. Love your videos.
The unstructured plate holder has a open place at the bottom to where you can push out the plates ☺️ I didn’t notice that until a few days ago when I decided to stamp before my polish was fully dry. I don’t know if that’s what it was meant for but it makes it so much easier to get the plates out!
Talia's Nail Tales I can see it, honestly I think the type of plastic used in those kinds of holders stick to the plates, I struggle with my UberChic brand one that is “flimsy” like that, it’s like a small 3 ring binder and more often than not I have to unsecure the page and shake it out 😂 the struggle is real
I just received a Clear Jelly order I got 3 of their holders, I loved the structure on them, and I preferred the hand method looks more real as to when you would work on a actual person, more realistic. Love your videos!!!!!!!
I think color on all nails and then nail art makes more sense because it’s the order in which I would do a real manicure. Mannequin hand or tips makes no difference to me. I scooped up both new plates this morning! I had been on the site for two days and couldn’t decide what to get until I saw these! Thanks for sharing!
Talia my friend, both tutorials are educational for me. Since I practice on my own nails and practice tips. I've been eye balling the sapphire holder since they came out. Be great for traveling to friends house.
I liked the hand method better. Seeing all the tips with the base color first then the art work application made it seem like a more cohesive process. Or maybe I just miss seeing you work on clients and the hand is more similar to a Watch Me Work video.
@@TaliasNailStudio brilliant! I'll check out the hardware stores! I have bigger plain tiles for pallets and warming my fuzion gel but I need small ones now for display 🤣
It’s a paper tape that doesn’t have a very strong adhesive so you can use it to stick onto paper and other surfaces and then peel off without damaging what you’ve stuck it too. Good for crafting and journaling. It’s almost like a crafty version of painters tape
I love both ways hun ,but as I'm a a nail tech I'd rather see you working on your hand but there's one thing you've not done yet ,and that's what we all do with our silicone hands and that's name its hun ,I have the flexi fingers so I call them my twins and I got key subscribers to name them both and I ran a giveaway and they got named lily & Lola xx
Problem with me working on my hand is it has to be my non-dominate hand and it’s hard to do that for filming and working, as I’m sure you can imagine. Plus I really just like plain nails so that’s not exciting 😂 some day I’ll have clients again but until than, this is what I have to work with 😂 Nah, I don’t think I’ll name her 😂
I love the hand method cause its true to life how the design comes together;)
Agreed!
I prefer the hand method as well since I am doing my own nails and learning during this whole pandemic thing, I like to learn in the same method that my nail tech would use.
I like the hand method as it’s true to life so to speak. With regards to the design method I feel whatever works for you is best.
Appreciate your feedback hun ❤️

Thanks for the feedback hun, I think that’s the main consensus 👌🏻
Luv u doing it on hand. It's like you are working on a client
That’s my thought too!
Great combinations and colors 💙 I like working on the hand , gives a realistic point of view for me💙💙
Thanks so much hun for the feedback
Stamping is so fun! Thanks so much for sharing ❤️❤️
I like the way you did the hand, like you were doing a full set of nails😁

Thanks so much hun! It’s a really nice turquoise and I find it so funny that the camera picks it up differently

Oh good! I’m so glad my video helped you decide. I know it can be overwhelming 🙈
I love anything "leafy" and prefer the hand method. Just started collecting CJS plates, great quality
Thanks so much for the feedback hun
Love CJS... the new holders are so pretty!
So pretty 🤍

I've been eye balling the sapphire holder since they came out. Be great for traveling to friends house.
It’s so pretty!! Thanks for watching Cathy 🤍
Working on a hand is the one I preferred- do it the way you would do it on a customer😀👍🏻👍🏻❤️

That’s my thoughts! More real life if how you work on clients
How pretty look the nails, how easy you make it love your videos,
I appreciate your support hun, thank you 🤍
Their plates look so cute :3
Their plates are so fab 🤍
How does the blue handle CJS clean up brush compare to the pink handle short brush that you love?
What marble thing did you use to display the first set? That was really cute!
Its a tile from the hardware store :) ha ha

you should try n put tabs on your stamping plate so it’s easier to pull out
Smart!
great teaching video beautiful sets
Thanks so much for watching hun
@@TaliasNailStudio you are welcome honey
Hermoso 😍😍😍👍💅🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
I love clear jelly ,but the limes & lemons remind me more of the "Mr. YUCK" stickers than fruit. I dont know y. But love the rest
Honestly, it’s probably how I did it 😂 I could have done them more justice than this design
What is the tool you're using to clean up?
CJS Clean up tool
What do you do with your inspiration nails you make for us? 😃
They sit in a bowl 🙈 I’m trying to figure out what to do with them 😊
What’s washy tape?
It’s a paper tape that doesn’t have a very strong adhesive so you can use it to stick onto paper and other surfaces and then peel off without damaging what you’ve stuck it too. Good for crafting and journaling. It’s almost like a crafty version of painters tape
Washi tape has so many used but usually it’s used in paper crafting 😊

I really don't have a preference. Sorry, I know that doesn't help! I liked the nails though!
All feedback helps, thank you hun ❤️
I don’t think the lemons look good. I think its the black lines in the middle. Thank you for sharing this.
Ha ha I agree. I said this multiple times 😂
Hand as if working on client.
