As much as I love Corey Cott and Dan Deluca, Jeremy Jordan will always be the quintessential Jack Kelly in my opinion. His chemistry with Kara is beautiful, and the way he interacts with the other newsies and his little mannerisms are so perfect

My local theater was going to do a kid’s Newsies play, and I didn’t know what that was and hated the idea of doing it (we didn’t end up doing it, the adults did) who knew a year later I would be in this fandom😂
in my school it's all like "jAck hAs to bE mAle-" and then they cast me as roosevelt. (I'm female,) and the person playing medda is also a girl, and then there's that... implied... stuff... with roosevelt and medda... so, you know.
I love the character of Jack. For all his bravado, confidence and courage, we see a guy who had it rough and seen some rough experiences that shaped him to who he was in the storyline. He's got demons like anyone else has and is only human to have moments where he wants to run away from it. Glad he got Davey, the rest of the Newsies and his new love interest Katherine to ground him and remind him running away isn't going to solve the problem. I thoroughly enjoyed this broadway!
We did this musical at our school and during our last rehearsal, the actors who played Jack and Katherine actually kissed and everyone started screaming from happiness 😂
