      Thats because you shouldnt as such. For example, doing hiit at certain times and strength, or low impact training etc, has no benefits, and no data to suggest its helpful in any way. For example, some people feel their strongest during their period and hit PRs whereas some people feel like they can only.just hit their baseline. The most important thing is to get to know your own body, and find a workout wchedule that suits you. It's unlikely to be exactly the same as the one that suits someone else.

I forced myself through really hard workouts when I was not in the mood and felt unwell. I would never do that again. I enjoy learning a lot about it, it helps me understanding my body and how I can care for myself and nurture myself. ✨

  • @canpy143
    @canpy143 ปีที่แล้ว +577

    For someone who has irregular periods, i still advice yall to focus on your energy levels throughout your cycle. Once you start on your periods, from that day till almost 23th/24th day, your energy levels increases steadily and as soon as the fertility window closes (aka the egg dies) there will be gradual and then sudden drop of energy due to depletion of estrogen. So as long as you feel great naturally, you can carry on doing high impact exercises and then when you slowly start feeling low, switch to light exercising or even walking/stretching will work.
    The most important thing is to listen to your body. It will never lie to you. Noone else knows better. So do what you feel right and don't force yourself to go to the gym if you don't feel like.
