You may have problems with learning foreign languages, but you are a very good teacher of momentum trading. Thank you for every invaluable lesson and for the daily recap. This teaching is A+
Excellent episode, thank you Ross! As a translator who studied languages at university, i find that learning to read charts does indeed engage the same mechanisms in my brain as learning a new language. I was thinking about that very analogy this week, and that it might explain why I like learning this so much. I just started to learn and train seriously about a month ago but I am obsessed. Translation work is rapidly disappearing with the rising of what they call Machine translation and AI, so I am giving all I got into this learning process to replace translation with day trading. Plus, I find trading way more fun and engaging...and the money... Well, will be a very nice by-product of all these efforts ;) Thanks again, Ross, I really appreciate all your content!
So much insight .....and the only way for people like me to find out this kind of information is from mentors like yourself. Thank you for your time and knowledge.
Great Video Ross. It focused on scalping- your expertise for sure. Wish you could do a similar video for day trading larger caps, even though you gave the reasons why you tend to advoid them. I get everything you explained and experience it myself. Would love to see a video to illustrate how you Day Trade larger caps (when you do). Ty
Ross I really want to thank you , I had been trading for about 3 months loosing more than gaining then I found your videos and started to follow your directions and for the last 3 weeks I had only one red day out 15 days and I got the money that I loose back plus a 1000 profit. So I continue to check all your videos and try really hard to build up my portfolio. Since I am just starting in the past 3 weeks I got a gaining average of 800 a week and as a newbi I just looking for the extra income until I start making more . Thanks again
i jus wanted to say som i dont usually comment but, today i got in my first trade and lost 175$ and then cut my losses, i went in on another stock and made 8$ then went back to the same stock i lost on because i saw good movement and realized i was in at the wrong time, either way i made 2 trades on it again and made 50 and 56$ but cant trade anymore because of my unsettled funds, either way im happy i was able to bounce back a bit these were my best trades so far in my month of trading and this situation definitely taught me a lot about how to get into trades better and managing my risk
This past week went as follows, Monday up 50$, Tuesday I made a trade and made another 50$, next trade lost 100$ and that was that. Wednesday I was 1200$ deep into a trade and it was getting unpredictable so I pulled out making like 8$, Thursday made 3 banging trades for a profit of 180$, and Friday I made another 80$ totalling at around 270 profit for the week. This week really showed me that this is possible, but it does take a lot of discipline and practice that comes with time. Right now I'm only trading on my phone so it can get really stressful when I can't pullout with a click of a button when I need to, but until I can show myself I have the mindset and can make the money I can't really focus on using a computer for trading daily. From one to another, we got this. 💪🏽💪🏽
@@Henryjames989 we got this bro, one thing ive personally learned this past week for me i need to cut my losers way sooner, i have good accuracy and nice sized winners this past week, but i hold my losers and from now on ill cut them instantly cus i can always get in on another trade
You probably shouldn’t be trading to begin with, are you using risk any management models? You’re going to clean out account soon if you keep trading like that, just being honest with you.
Ross, thank you so much for this. This was an immense help. I watched it the day you put it out. I set it to a 3 minute candle so the one minute wouldn't give me a false out. I took VRPX this morning and the Heiken Aishi helped me stay in longer. I chose to stop out early, but I made almost 11% because of it. Hopefully, today has given me more confidence for tomorrow to stay in even longer.
Great video. I really appreciate you showing your real scenarios - so many stock trading videos are extremely high level without any meat - I have a hard time believing most of them know what they're talking about because they don't give any real examples.
Thank you for the content! However, as a beginner, I feel there's still a lot of missing information. It would be great if you could cover the following topics: How and where can one get real-time news to consider entering a position, given that minutes seem to count? On your platform, you have a scanner. Are there affordable ways for a beginner to start using a scanner? Do you have any suggestions for free real-time scanners? What did you do when you were starting out? I'd love to join your platform, but the cost is currently out of my league. If you truly want to help, I'd appreciate any advice or resources you can share.
this is a great video.. the stuff right around 18:20 is especially swift, huge thanks for that and for all your helpful info. I'm just curious why you don't screen starting at $0.30 or so, if you don't mind. tho if I'm you, I'm too busy to read these, I do enough ;) Cheers either way from Brooklyn NY
It is super interesting watching various trading channels strategies. Some insist on trading JUST the big guys, others like yourself insist on mostly penny stocks. I've been gathering information from everyone to make my own method; I've discovered totally copycatting someone is actually pretty hard if you don't grasp it right off the bat. Hopefully I can get a few methods together to trade during all types of markets.
In order to trade the right stocks, I need the right tools to indicate/flag an asset for trading. How do I get access to the same tools you use? Also, do you search to see if there is news about the stock you are investigating or are you using the indicators to determine that there is some kind of news but not sure? I could take the time to investigate the stock, but by the time I complete my analysis, the window of opportunity has closed.
As a Canadian who is just starting to learn day trading, I'm wondering how much impact the recent increase in capital gains tax will affect Day Traders? As i understand it, it would only affect Canadian stock buying, as international stocks were already taxed at the full rate.. I also wonder if this type of tax was intended to stop Canadians from generating wealth in general, but thats a different issue...so as someone who is just getting into this, would this increased tax be something that would discourage you at all? Thank you
Thanks so much Ross, I heartly appreciate you sharing your knowledge and experience for people like me. I really appreciate your videos, and it is helping me a lot in my trading journey.
Hey, do you think, paying short in case of 'all ok but no news trigger' (21:23) would work - the expectation is to price go down to a 'normal' value? or would you advise against this risk because we don't know what caused the move?
The only consistancy i see in the S&P is to see repetitive bottoms. There seems to be a point where the big money refuses to go below. They will only go so far below the previous few bottoms. If i can find a bottom on the day chart that has been tested twice. Set that sell and it will go up eventually in a short time.
This is an amazing video Ross; thank you. What do you think of swing trading and do you mind making a video on how to do it? I work at a high-paying 9-5 job that I love and would love to apply your teachings to swing trade for additional income. Thank you!
