Riven doesn't exactly deal high dps, half her damage is autos and item procs. K'Sante has clearly no chance fighting the Riven at that point but I don't see why he should be burned down like an ADC to top it off even while having Iceborn and Tabis. The damage is just right, mind the Riven also isn't building Spellblade and didn't proc Eclipse even once.
@@mystrdat What do you mean, if velkoz didn't help before ksante 0/4 would win against the riven, how is that normal? He literally brought riven down to 1/5 hp at the same time a fed riven did to him
Beautiful game, alois and azzapp have great synergy. Very smart and talented players. Azzapp's angles under pressure are perfect, that whole sequence when he killed Tarzan, got neeko zhonya, and then the pick on Kalista under tower were insane. Those early laning plays from Alois buying time for his jungler and the flash play in the cove were clutch moments. And of course the game turning fight azzapp baited and Alois followed up perfectly on with the neeko ult cancel and tanking and putting out huge damage with the perfect teamfight build.
I think there's a difference between a one trick and a main Riven. I would strongly argue that Alois is not a one trick. The dude pretty much hit masters on every top lane champion there is.
A one trick plays their champ whenever they can which is what he does. Hes always advocated for people to just one trick a champ so they can learn matchups. Only reason hes hitting master on every champ is with his fundamental skills and not the mechanics from his champ
In chall he still otp‘s riven. Im a Master irelia otp. I can still play any other toplaner to reach dia tho. It’s kinda same with alois just on a different lvl
This is like saying because a diamond otp can hit gold with other champs he's not a one trick anymore. Alois can play other stuff but his riven is best by far and that's generally considered one tricking
I would argue that he's most definitely _not_ the best Riven but the best player who plays Riven. Having played in the pro scene is definitely a huge benefit here as imo he has the best macro management/decision making out of all of them. In terms of piloting Riven, I'd say Wenshen is the best in terms of mechanics and Azhy is the best at understanding the champion and how Riven generally functions best (his runes and item builds are always optimised for every given scenario and the way he approaches skirmishes and team fights gets the most out of Riven in terms of consistency)
You are right mid beans. Her mechanics is like riding a bike, even i can fast combo pretty damn fast on moving objects and hop over the biggest walls possibly but idk how to end a game or predict junglerr
Imo there are 3 Rivens who are all worth mentioning: 1. Wenshen: the best at piloting Riven, mechanically 2. Azhy: has the best understanding of Riven as a champion, evident by his optimised rune and item choices given any situation (both enemy lane and enemy team) as well as how he approaches skirmishes and fights which absolutely get the most out of Riven in terms of consistency 3. Alois: most certainly not the "best Riven" (I consider the other two better) but _the best player_ who plays Riven. You can tell that he played in the pro scene as he definitely has the best macro (general understanding of game states/what's going on, decision making etc) out of these Top3 Riven mains. I also doubt it's a coincidence that he prefers tp while the other two prefer ignite
Alois doesn't prefer TP, he just can't get away with playing ignite at 1k LP KR challenger. You can't get consistent leads with ignite at that level. He played ignite almost exclusively until he hit like 800 LP
@@gvg870 you say that like the others are just playing in piss low. you can see both wenshen and azhy use ignite in high Elo games that have pro players like chovy etc in them
He is complaining that the gameplay is slow, we are literally watching a vod of a S1 champion vs a S12 champion. Btw Riven with like 3kills and all waves 2 items 1 lvl up was about to lose 1v1 to 0/4 Ksante with 1 item

idk is it just me or he doesnt even seem like a riven main? he seems like a really good player who started playing riven, but doesnt have those 0.1% mechanics

Idk, as a riven onetrick the only riven to impress me was peak boxbox and theshy. Viper is good but his riven mechanis are not as clean as the other two, he knows matchups better though.
@@princesurein7275 His riven mechanics may not be as clean, but that isnt as important as people think. What makes top lane champion is matchup knowledge, and that will always be more fruitful and impressive. Viper understands riven, he is very knowledgeable

Meaning it could easily be a nerf for some players and buff for players that already tunnel vision and need call outs.
The ONLY reason kasante could be doing bad is low ELO players have climbed too high playing him, then when he's balanced they are dropping back to their actual elo

small little tidbit for people who don't know or never played thresh: last I remember his base damage on his R is INSANE
like 300 at lvl 1 lmao
The fact that riven even struggles a tiny bit to kill a 0/6/0 ksante, down 4 kills, 60cs 2 levels and an item says a lot about Riot buffing him…

Alois is definitely top 5 riven in the world, at best I’d put him second to built which is no takeaway for how cracked he is

Literally only when the K'sante was like 0/6 and like 2 levels down was the Riven able to win 1v1 lmao, totally a tank though.
