Now if the Bears sit at 9 and McCarthy is available Bears need to see what they can do with him so that either Minnesota overpays Bears or Bears make a deal with someone like Denver or Raiders that need a QB, just so Vikings dont get McCarthy at 11. Or this makes Minnesota trade up earlier to take McCarthy pushing another player down to Bears.
I’d love to trade from 9 and get 11 and 23 in return but realistically if JJ is sitting there at pick #9 there’s no way Vikings trade both first rounders to move up 2 slots for him. It’d be just as much of a robbery as the trade for the #1 pick last year.
This is way off in terms of pick value, they are 700 points apart I think the most a team would go for is a 200 point gap especially when its for the 4th QB
I had this thought at the beginning. 9, 11, 23 next year's 1st and 3rd. I'm a Vikings guy and it's more than I would be willing to give because you set up the Bears and screw yourself over a bit. At least it wouldn't be the Packers. BUT...from the Bears perspective they would have five 1st round picks in 2 years. If you can't get fixed with that, you're lost. Skol Nation would revolt, though.

For 11 and 23 I would do it but not sure Minnesota would do it to move up two slots. I would love this draft honestly. I'm big on A.D. Mitchell.
