Man, your articulation is perfect. Loved this video. Thank you for bringing back memories as well. Feels good to know and watch people playing the stuff that once loved most.
And this is why I love your channel.. 🙌🏼🤘🏼 I remember watching and buying their DVD of the unplugged show, this is totally reminding me of this. And how I learned by watching that video to play many of these songs. Bravo! Let's all take a moment and give a thanks to Jerry Cantrell for coming up with such a great songs to play.
I rember in the 90s somone at work was wanting me to come over to see the unplugged on MTV live I was thinking unplugged sounds boaring but ok , when lane came out with pink hair I was shocked but after letting it all soak in I was blown away and wanted to hear only the unplugged now I can play it thanks for this I watch this every day
Great work. Your Faith acoustic is a great tone. Hard to believe its 25 years. The songs have so much emotion and energy linked to them. Have you ever played these with a full band? I'm sure they would sound powerful.
Thanks Dave! It’s just guitar straight into my UR12 steinberg audio interface into cubase with a touch of reverb added. That’s it, it’s all the guitar tbh. I’ve got a new set of D’Addario EXP coated strings on there too 🤘
You never disappoint. Ever heard of Brad or Satchel? Both Shaun Smith bands as well as Pigeon Head ...I think we both know where I'm going with this lol Thansk for all the hard work you put in .
Very cool, but actually Angry Chair and Heaven Beside You aren't right, the first note in Angry Chair lasts longer and the bend in Heaven... also lasts longer... I just say this because you always do a perfect work and may like to hear those riffs again to correct the mistakes
Hey Kory, these were more to celebrate 25 yrs than to pore over the minutiae like i tend to do in my lessons, so i did these from memory, but thanks for pointing them out and keeping me honest and thanks for the kind words mate :-)
I feel like the Nirvana unplugged session is heavily overrated, the PJ and AIC concerts were much better imo. Thanks for this vid Matt , a lot of the riffs and chord progressions are unique and tricky, Jerry was and still is a mastermind.
His videos are always so clear that I'm sure you can figure it out pretty easily just by watching what he's doing. He does have some amazing lessons of most these already done.
@@chuckydall9250 welcome mate! Check out my Playlists, that may help you find what you’re after, AIC here - th-cam.com/play/PLLJomVjCOvkjeuSdZ_DUS2gQO59TVR-ac.html
25 years, wow. Being that I’m only 19, that number feels so powerful. Love the video!
Thanks Meg!
Best unplugged!!!
Pearl Jam is my favorite band and this Unplugged is so amazing! Totally agree with you.
Nirvana’s was better🫥
@@aedenserano3439not better than AIC
Over now.. what a great track. Baffled as to how Jerry came up with that one
Weird tunings definitely inspire ;-)

You’re welcome mate and thanks for the kind words!
Definitely the best songs and best unplugged EVER! 🤘🎸
Very nice tone on that acoustic.
Cheers!
He sounds like he’s using a super thin pick. Like, .3mm.
@@ConnMolnar Yeah, I love the crisp sound of a thin pick on new strings.
Seriously can't believe I'm just now finding your channel. Where you been all my life?!? You're great man keep it up!!
Haha thanks Jake! 😊🤘

Great job Matt and love that guitar.

Cool tuning!!
It’s a perfect timing for celebrate the new song of Jerry Cantrell just released yesterday : Atone 🎶
Indeed! 😀🤘

Sounds Great
Hey uncle
I have been waiting for Nutshell mtv version solo from your channel..
Ah yes must do that!
I feel there's 1 song missing here - No Excuses.
Qq yea I thought I’d limit myself to just 10 riffs had to cut a few out which was hard work tbh! 😀
ok angry chair hurt my brain there.
Why?
@@rocasalgueroluisgerardo1719 the timing sounds way off to me. Notes are right but it sounds way off rhythm wise.
@@rocasalgueroluisgerardo1719 its really just the opening riff.

All three were magical moments I wish I was around for
No worries Fridge and all opinions welcome, I’m a big fan of Nirvana’s unplugged personally. Love their version of Man Who Sold The World on that!
@@LetsPlayAll the man who sold the world is probably the best song from their concert
Hey what model is your cort?
It’s not a Cort, it’s a Faith Venus Blood Moon 🤘
Very good tunning please 😮😊
Most all AIC songs are Eb standard (a few are drop C#)
Sick... Have you heard Jerry's new single Atone? It's amazing. If. You. Would. Could. You do a lesson on it?
Oh yes please! Great song, anxiously waiting for his new album!!!!
