Happy Friday everyone! I've lived in Toronto for about 5 years but only took the UP Express a few weeks ago, for the first time! I'd usually take an uber to and from the airport, and I tried taking the bus several times (which also works well!). But the UP Express is quite an experience, I'd definitely compare it for my next trips because it's fast and the price makes sense. What do you think? Have you taken the UP Express before, or are you planning to? Also, don't forget to check out the awesome Everful toiletry bags in case you need one, link in the descriptions!
If we take this way on arrival, how challenging is it for a couple of short Asians with 50 lb luggage and carry on each, to navigate to the train (I saw escalators, elevators?)and inside the train? In your video, the train was pretty empty, wondering if storing the bags would be a problem if it’s crowded too. If we use this way, we would have to take it to Union station to get to via rail to take that train to our city. Is Union station hard to navigate with luggage on a weeknight around 9-10 pm? Thanks!
9-10pm on weekdays should be pretty quiet, so I don't think you'll be struggling with crowds. As long as your luggage as spinner wheels, you should be fine taking public transportation. The airport is directly connected to the UP Express (I made a video specifically about this, recently).
@@LivinginCanada thank you. I checked the train schedule and it turns out, it won't work out with the flights. I was mostly worried about getting that checked luggage on and off escalators. Maybe next time.
Thanks for this video! It's super helpful for planning my trip in March. I'm from USA and was wondering which is easier for me to get to downtown by Union Station: should I fly into YYZ and take the UP, or fly into YTZ and take the shuttle? All answers welcomed!
Hey, thanks for really awesome content. I have one qs. Considering one is landing with COPR on the passport for the first time. how long does it take at the airport after the touch down? What are the options if one gets free at night between 11-5 am?
You're welcome! It's pretty fast, based on my experience. I arrived with a work permit, and I don't think I queued longer than 30 minutes. They're pretty fast with checking your documents, as long as you have everything ready. If you mean transportation, then I'd suggest getting an uber or lyft.
I would check out airbnb rooms, the ones with shared bathroom & kitchen are more affordable, and make sure you pick one with a high rating, ideally super host, cheers!
This was SO freaking useful. You're a blessing
An excellent video with great information to know before landing in Toronto. Thank you !!

Is Uber the cheapest way to go around downtown?
Should we purchase tickets ahead of time if traveling in May
Great videos! Very informative and you are you real easy on the eyes 😀.
Thank you!
I have taken this train a few times. It is great!
What a great video! Thank you for sharing.
Great video. Thank you!
I find most people call it the up express. U P express sounds ok though lol
Haha, yes I should switch to saying up instead!

I've only flewn into YYZ, and it's pretty easy to get to Union station (less than half an hour)!

helps a lot. Thx.
GO train or TTC maybe the best way too, if you are by yourself is OK but family of 4, maybe a cab or Uber is still worth it.
🎉
Can we buy tickets on,one instead?
Good evening ❤
How about using international Credit cards with UP Express ?
What if you’re flying to Billy Bishop airport? How do you get to a hotel in downtown Toronto from there?
👍
Used to live in Montreal! Miss 🇨🇦 😊
Beautiful city!
@@LivinginCanadaI personally prefer Toronto tho 😊
Good luck if you are at Terminal 3.
Then you'd have to take the terminal link train.
How can I get an affordable guest room for a day or two before getting an apartment
I am coming from Dubai
