I finished, just today, The Life of St. Benedict Joseph Labre, by Marconi. His story (Labre) shattered me! I am still in such a frame of emotion as write this. But I don't know if I cry for his perceived misery, or for mine. For all the pain that so many people on this earth have to endure, physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually, it is easy to feel sorrow and confusion at the very vehemence and quantity of it all. But...to feel and know the same, as this saint did, and yet at the same time embrace it with an extraordinary awareness of a God he loved so much, perhaps all the pain and suffering there is within oneself is as bearable, and even welcomed, as a new sunrise. Thank you for his story. I have much to put to my heart on.
Thanks, those are TH-cam's auto generated captions. I don't create or control them, TH-cam listens to the audio and puts in what it thinks sounds right. You can find the properly written version here manlysaints.substack.com/p/saint-benedict-joseph-labre

Thanks. A beautiful, moving story, well told. And fortunately for me I'm an ignoramus in the matters of correct pronunciation! 😊
i m sorry toremind you that in the English translation proper names are written incorrectly for example ;DESCARTES. IT IS NOT OK.
